The high torque 475 cc engine will dig deep to pull a heavy load on the job site or churn through axle-deep mud on the trails. The OHV, semi-dry sump engine design with its super-low centre of gravity helps keep things stable when carrying that heavy load or negotiating hilly terrain while looking for the perfect campsite. Manoeuvring under load or in tricky terrain is also made easier by power steering that not only reduces steering effort, but also virtually eliminates kick-back from the wheels. For its part, the unique electric shift five-speed transmission seems perfectly suited to the TRX500 Foreman ES EPS's dual personality offering the efficiency and durability of a gear-on-gear manual transmission, but with smooth seamless shifting just the touch of a button away. Matched perfectly with the sophisticated transmission is an equally advanced 4WD system that offers three different options for maximum versatility; 2WD, 4WD with torque-sensing front diff or 4WD with fully locked front diff.
