First year of the quad that started it all! Original plastics. Original except the FMF pipe, has upgraded skid plates, and twist grip throttle. This fortrax comes with a set of sand paddles for the rear of the bike. Original front and Rear ohtsu tires. The previous owner claimed that it was still on the original top end but I have no way of confirming that. The fender decals are original. Starts and runs great. What if you had unlimited funds and wanted the best quad you could possibly have. Money was no object. You wanted to be THE guy at the dunes with the coolest toy! Would you go to the motorcycle dealer and buy one? Remember, money is no object... That was the case with this vehicle (it cost over $20,000 to build). Stock???? No way! Nothing here is stock. Lone Star narrow front frame that is Chromed for durability and longevity. Front end? Laeger Pro Trax +4 - +1 that was custom fit to the frame. It has custom adjustable A arms for castor that Laeger no longer makes. Bump Steer Spindles. Custom Axis shocks all the way around. The swing arm was custom built for a No-Link set up. The motor is an LRD 370. Talk about a 250R on steroids! Less than 20 hours of run time. Just this motor was $3,500 to build and that was me supplying the motor. It has special hand cut sand tires with light weight wheels. This quad handles like nothing I've ever ridden in the dunes. The super wide front end with the bump steer spindles and Custom Axis shocks make it feel like it has power steering. The torque from the motor is endless yet smooth.
