Rare 1982 Honda AB12 Motocompo Street Legal !!!! This is my 1982 Honda Motocompo out of my personal collection. It was legally imported into the US with proper DOT and EPA clearance and has a clean and clear Arizona Street title with reg and plate. I actually just put new 2017 tags on it that are good through the end of the year. This is a pretty nice survivor, not quite collector condition but certainly will not be out of place in any nice moto stable. It has had a number of small mods done by previous owner in Japan to make it a bit more reliable and an everyday rider. Many bolts have been updated with nicer allen head hardware, there are new fuel and breather lines. A slightly different carb is fitted (another stock carb is included with bike) there is a nicer updated seat cover and a Daytona catch can/breather. There is a large capacitor type battery that takes the place of the original battery. It runs very good and makes great power for what it is. It probably needs some adjustment on the carb (possibly air screw) as if it has sat for few days its a bit harder to start, once warm it starts on 1-2 kicks, idles nice and runs fine. No electrical issues, everything works, lights, blinkers, horn, stop light etc. Typical Japanese corrosion on the engine cases, normal wear, but all in all a nice survivor....and nice ones are getting hard to find in Japan for reasonable money. Some original decals are missing, but everything else is original and in nice shape as seen, especially considering the age. Replacement decals are easy to get, but I will leave that up to new owner to decide. Tires are decent, some cracking, but not original from what I can tell. Bike comes as seen (all pictures are from last week) with clean and clear AZ title, plate and current tags. 2 original Honda Keys.
