1980 Honda GL1100 Goldwing Standard, Rare, Standard Gold Wing with Custom Exhaust!! Here is a bike that you don't see every day. The GL1100 Full fairing, trunk and hard saddle bags, NOT!!! Not on this one, the was one of the few of the unfaired models. This one is the GL1100 Standard. The big 1100cc engine is a flat-four, it gives more torque and also runs smoother and less truculently than the previous model,the GL1000. The suspension is air assisted. Motorcycle magazines immediately gave this machine the thumbs-up and customers all over the world hassled their dealers for a machine that Honda couldn't kick out of the factory quick enough to meet the demand. Fully serviced, Ready to ride. The 1100 Goldwing Standard. This one has been set up with a great sounding Delkevic exhaust system on it, nice touch!!! It also has a windshield that has been mounted on it. You don't see Goldwing standards very often, most of them have the fairing and bags on them, it is amazing how well these bikes run in standard form, a lot lighter, and a lot less wind drag on them.
