title status: clean transmission: manual •safety tips •prohibited items •product recalls •avoiding scams I have a very clean custom CX500 cafe racer for sale. Bought this bike 2 years ago for $4000. I've put in $900 to rebuild the carburetors, clean rust out of gas tank and a new battery. I just changed the oil a few weeks ago. Super fun to ride and definitely turns heads. There's nothing like it out on the road. I've put less than 50 miles on it since I bought it. I will consider all reasonable offers and I will consider trades for 4X4 truck as well.

1980 Honda CX500, Affordable street bike!! In today s world of massive, 1,800cc cruisers and 150-plus horsepower sportbikes, it s easy to forget that middleweights once ruled the road. While there were plenty of big bikes around in the late Seventies, the middle ground of 400cc to 650cc machines was a hotly contested category. The CX500 built a loyal following of owners, many using the V-Twin as a long-haul touring machine or daily commuter. This one is not perfect, but it runs, and rides just as it should. We have serviced it, and we also know that the charging system works correctly.
