Selling a 1981 Honda CM200 Twinstar with clear title. A perfect starter bike, or ready for an easy conversion into a cafe racer or scrambler. Runs like a champ & handles like a dream. This bike has been kept in excellent shape, has low mileage for its age, & is fully ready to ride. Only reason I'm getting read of it is to thin out the herd a little. Small dent on gas tank, & a few minor paint scratches. Approx. 12,000 miles. Clear Arkansas title. Asking $2000, but all reasonable offers will be considered
This is a red 1981 Honda CM200T Twinstar in great condition. There is a crack on the right-side exhaust pipe and a little rust on both exhaust pipes, but it is otherwise very clean and runs great. This particular bike has an aftermarket windshield and saddlebags attached and includes a cover for overnight outdoor parking. This bike has been my primary transportation for about a year, and I've averaged 73.2 mpg with it. Last oil change was at 10,217.3 miles, the chain was replaced at 8,525.7 miles, and the gears and air filter were last cleaned and spark plugs were last replaced at 8,096.0 miles. If you purchase this bike, you will be its fourth owner.
Up For Sale is a 1980 Honda CM200T Twinstar that has 980 actual miles as of this posting! ( I have been riding this little bike as this listing goes on, so this number may increase). This bike looks like brand new, and comes with original owners manual, and a shop manual. I will also include a tour pack and sissy bar that I removed from the bike this season. The only imperfection is a small (less than 1/4") scrape on the front of the gas tank just below the fork neck. I have been riding for a very long time, and at first turned up my nose at this little 200, but lately I cannot seem to pry myself off of thing! It is just a fun little bike! It has plenty of pick-up for what it is; I can verify that it will easily do 70 MPH, and is quite smooth at that speed. The clutch and gearbox work perfect, and the motor easily starts either by kick or by electric start. That battery has been replaced, the oil is pretty fresh, and the tires are in good shape. This bike will not disappoint, and I hate to see it go, but I must clear room for other projects.
CM185 twinstar. bike is pretty much all original. spent most of its life in garages. some chrome pitting, forks are pitting, rims are pitting as well, cases and cylinders are good. gas tank is excellent inside. paint is pretty good for the age, no massive scratches or gouges, some rub marks tho. the bad: will need tires (there the original). carb does need some work, runs great on choke, not so off choke. no highbeam or horn ( im sure its the bulb and horn). any questions ask. possible delivery if your in the chicagoland area.
Selling a 1978 Honda Twinstar (CM185). I've put 500 miles on this bike since purchasing it in February of this year. It only has 8300 original miles. It's a perfectly functioning bike, just underpowered for what I need. Starts up clean and runs smooth. Transmission is smooth as well. It had a full tune-up in December, I changed the oil this week. Tires with plenty of tread, garage kept, no rust, clean gas tank, etc. I have the Haynes manual and original owners manual both in pristine condition and included with the bike. This is a GREAT starter bike as it's size is manageable. It will go 65, but is most comfortable in that 45-55 MPH range. Ask if you have questions. Cash only, no delivery. Issues - Small dent in gas tank (pictured) - Kickstart does not appear to work....it's "free"...but the electric start works perfectly. - Small rip in the seat (pictured)
