A gently ridden excellent condition 2006 Honda CB599 hornet for sale. A rare, classy, 400lb naked minimalist bike from the best of both worlds, with elegant italian design combined with Honda engineering. Based on the CBR600F3 engine. As far as I know I am the third owner, with just under 12,000 miles. Has some usual minor cosmetic damage from use and age seen under close inspection. Mechanically she is in tip-top shape. Engine oil (honda oil), NGK spark plugs, brake fluids, coolant (honda oem) all have been replaced and ready for the riding season. New yuasa battery installed as well. Basically all stock besides the D and D exhaust, mirrors, and frame sliders. Will include two helmets, spare plugs, misc spare parts, two bike locks, and other items.Registered with a clean title. This is a beautiful bike. Low miles with just under 14,000. Body is in great condition with only a few scratches from a possible drop. Pictures available on request. This is a rare find with very few available in the US. Tires are in good condition. I purchased it last year and haven't had a lot of opportunity to ride it. 2004 Honda CB599 14,xxx miles Lots of offers but not sold yet...make a reasonable offer and we got a deal. Which is ridiculous, the bike is worth around 3200, it's just the wrong time of year to sell. Anybody willing to buy could sell it in the summer and make a profit. Let me know. I've owned this bike for a few years, fantastic condition and it rides better than the day I bought it. It's always been garaged, cleaned and maintained often, without any major damage. There's been a few upgrades (CRG levers, CRG mirrors, foot pegs, bar ends) but this is pretty much a stock CB599 with really low miles. I would love to hang onto it but I'm in the Navy and about to move overseas for a few years. Be advised I live in Ventura. Feel free to contact me to make an offer or to set up a time ride it. 2006 Honda 599/Hornet/CB600F. 8000 miles. Runs great. Two Brothers carbon fiber exhaust. Renthal Ultra Low Handlebars (stock available). Pazzo black adjustable brake and clutch levers.This rare, awesome, naked sport bike made in Italy was only brought to the U.S. two years. Unfortunately, it has been down twice at low speeds on each side. Everything damaged was replaced except the gas tank (palm-sized dent, painted to prevent rusting) and scuffed engine/clutch covers. 2004 Honda 599, AKA Hornet 600, AKA CB600FThe Italian Honda.The Japanese Ducati Monster.10,000 miles. No, the mileage is not a fake. Just random coincidence. If it bothers you, I can ride it a few more miles and post another odometer pic.No issues. I ride this bike to work once a week just to keep the gas flowing through it. It starts right up every time.I am the second owner. I bought it from the original owner in 2014 with 6500 miles on it. I haven't added a single scratch to it, though it does have some "beauty marks" to let you know it isn't brand new. The seat has a tear/scuff from getting kicked while it was off the bike. The front fender, rear cowl, and gas tank have rub marks and small nicks. More images available on requestIt is completely stock other than the mirrors, frame sliders, and OEM windscreen. All original bolts have been kept.I am selling because it is a second bike, bought for my wife, and she just never finds opportunities to ride it. She loves it, and hates to see it go, but wants to turn it into some dirtbikes or maybe a house upgrade.The bike needs nothing other than a new owner. The title is clear, in my name, and on hand. It is a great little bike, holds its own against more modern bikes (2014 Triumph Street Triple R to name one), handles like a scalpel, and looks amazing. I have the "big brother" Honda 919 as well, and this little bike doesn't give up anything to it's bigger sibling. My comparison of the two is that the 599 is the playful puppy and the 919 is long haul horse. The 599 is more fun to ride on a twisty road, but the 919 fits me better for my I-70/465 commute.If you come to ride it, bring your gear, your motorcycle endorsement, proof of insurance, and cash. Might be willing to trade for an 85 or 125 2-stroke and cash.
