Relisting, buyer had a family emergency and was unable to complete the sale Bike runs and drives, inspection/tags expired last month. It's a 1984 Tourglide, first year evolution engine. Could use a paint job. Mostly stock, has later model CV carb, and crane ignition. Rear wheel bearings, chain and battery are less than a year old, as are the mufflers and windshiled (NOS stock harley). Mustang seat in decent condition. No keys for the bags or trunk (previous owner lost them). Clean Title in my name. Matching numbers. Health problems keep me from riding very often, and I hate to see it sitting so much of the time. When they tell you lift with your knees, not with your back you should listen to them -- I didn't. After a few years of not riding anymore I thought my back had improved enough to do it. I was wrong, getting old sucks. I've bought and sold several bikes and cars on eBay, and you'll notice I have perfect feedback. I try to be honest about what I sell. Known issues: fairing came from a different bike, and is different color. Paint is not great anywaay, and I was planning on repaint. There is a dent in the tank, and I have an additional, better tank I will throw in with it. Has later model bag lids, and the turn signals were removed from the bags and the holes were patched (all before I got it). It has a FLH style turn signal bar. The dust boots on the shocks are torn,but you cant see them when the bags are on. Previous owner said they replaced top end gaskets. I've had the bike about a year, and haven't noticed any major, current leaks -- but I haven't ridden it very hard or far. There is no radio caddy, and the gauges in the fairing aren't hooked up. Speedometer doesn't work (may just be the cable, and I have a new cable that goes with it). All stuff I planned to address when I painted it this winter, but I decided to see if anyone wanted to buy it as-is and fix it up the way they want it. I've ridden it over the past year, and it's never left me stranded, starts easily (although the starter spins occasionally). If it wasn't for my back issues, I'll feel safe riding it anywhere -- but keep in mind this is a 30 year old motorcycle. Must be paid for before it leaves, and no warranty of any kind. Ask questions before purchase, I want you to know as much about it as I do. MILEAGE IS NOT ACCURATE! Speedo was purchased here on ebay a few months back. With a bike this old, no telling how many miles, or if it has been rebuilt or not. PAYMENT: Paypal is fine, Cash works. A cashiers check only from a national bank -- something there is a local branch of in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. I've gotten burned by bad checks in the past, and cant afford to risk it on this one. Wire transfers are preferred, where your bank wire the money to my bank. That's safer for everyone involved, as there is a record of who sent what and who received it. Ask your bank about it. Once bike is paid for, You get the title. If you are having it shipped I'll send you the title priority mail and you can arrange for pickup. Shipping: There are a lot of companies that will come pick this up and bring it to you for a 2-300 bucks. Uship is one. I have no experience arranging this, but will be happy to help within reason. If you want the bags removed and sent separately etc, that can be done.
