My apologies to those who were watching when I had this previously listed. Ebay wouldn't allow corrections to the description so I had to cancel and relist. Sorry. This is a 1972 Harley-Davidson Sportster with clear Ohio title. Vin is 4A16433H2 and frame number is 3A44093H4. I don't know Harley numbers, so I can't promise those match, but I think both are original. I bought it as a project and ended up with way too many projects and never got to it. The title says it is the XLC model, with kick and electric start. It is missing the starter. Frame appears to be original. I put a wide glide front end on it and it needs the conversion bearings and cups to adapt to the larger neck stem. 21 inch front spoked wheel and 16 inch rear. No odometer. Turns over and has compression, but with too many projects I never pulled the heads or anything. It is still missing some parts, but is probably 90+% there. Would make a super fun project for the winter. The rear fender has been worked and rewelded. Both fenders and tank match, but aren't original. Needs to be wired. I have several seats, one being a LaPera solo seat in very good condition that is in the pictures. You can pick one out that appeals to you if you don't want the LaPera. I also have a Clymer manual for the bike and will throw that in. There is nothing wrong with the bike that I know of. I really wanted to build it because it is one of the coolest looking Sportsters I have ever seen, but I literally have 7 other projects ahead of it and don't have the luxury of getting to it any time soon. And I really need the space. Please ask questions or feel free to correct me if I have presented the bike in error in any way. I appreciate the previous bidders pointing out some errors in my listing before, hence needing to relist. No guarantees. You are buying it as a project as is. The leather saddlebags are included, along with a spare set of pistons and rings.

Used but In Excellent condition. Has a couple of small scratches on the gas tank. Otherwise well taken care of. Second owner. Registration current through 9/2016.
