Adult owned - never beat, no stories, 6,800 miles, factory Impact Blue, well maintained - up to date. Mostly stock except few tasteful mods: P&M Front Caliper Chrome, floating rotors, Vance & Hines Straight Shots, Screaming Eagle intake and carb dialed in - no pops, pulls through throttle. Polished/ Painted HD ThunderStar rims with Dunlop D401 HD tires w/ less than 1500 miles. Chrome throughout, see pics. Many extras including; factory owners and Clymer manual, Nelson Rigg cover, battery tender, OEM mid controls, HD Saddle bags, quick mount backrest, risers and handlebars, etc... Very comfortable, super reliable Twin Cam, never had an issue at all with this bike. See one picture of lowered bars installed. Bike currently has 10" Apes but still has all factory cables/ hoses and can be easily put back with included semi-drag bars and risers. Moving on to four wheels, time has come. Very rare 78' FXS Shovel head with numbers matching engine and transmission cases. This is the first year for the Low Rider! House of Color Cobalt Blue clear coat. About 700 miles since bike was completely rebuilt! Work just completed: Engine; 74" Shovel head, top end just done, 10.5 compression Keith Black pistons .010 over, heads ported with high performance valves and new seats and guides, solid Andrews high performance camshaft, S&S E carb, high flow/pressure oil pump, all new braided oil lines, high performance electronic ignition and coil. The lower end was completely rebuilt about 10k miles ago. Custom exhaust. Its loud like a Shovel should be! Drive-train; New Barnett clutch with cable, new compensator and chain, new chrome o-ring chain and sprockets. The transmission was also completely rebuilt with all upgraded hardened steel gears/forks/shafts/bearings when the engine lower end was rebuilt. Too much work to list! Some of it includes; new lace wire wheels with new tires, chrome swing arm, new wide glide front end and trees, rear shocks, new chrome calipers/brake pads/rotors brake hoses and both front and rear chrome master cylinders, a lot of new wiring, battery, new switches/lights, forward controls and lots of new chrome. There are boxes of parts (new/original taken off items) that go with bike. This Harley has been in my family since it was purchased brand new. Bike needs nothing and is also offered for sale locally too. NADA value is $13800 but selling for a lot less! This bike is also offered for sale locally too. Extras: Chrome crash guards with forward foot pegs Windshield Wide rim around head lamp Heated hand grips (with three settings) - these are non Harley… had Harley ones before but did not last very long. Screaming Eagle Performance exhaust system. (original stock parts available) Leather semi-rigid saddle bags (snaps and velcro closure) H-D license plate frame Minor scratch on tank (will show in one photo) Bike is fairly clean, and has been a great touring companion for the last ten years.
