Very rare 78' FXS Shovel head with numbers matching engine and transmission cases. This is the first year for the Low Rider! House of Color Cobalt Blue clear coat. About 700 miles since bike was completely rebuilt! Work just completed: Engine; 74" Shovel head, top end just done, 10.5 compression Keith Black pistons .010 over, heads ported with high performance valves and new seats and guides, solid Andrews high performance camshaft, S&S E carb, high flow/pressure oil pump, all new braided oil lines, high performance electronic ignition and coil. The lower end was completely rebuilt about 10k miles ago. Custom exhaust. Its loud like a Shovel should be! Drive-train; New Barnett clutch with cable, new compensator and chain, new chrome o-ring chain and sprockets. The transmission was also completely rebuilt with all upgraded hardened steel gears/forks/shafts/bearings when the engine lower end was rebuilt. Too much work to list! Some of it includes; new lace wire wheels with new tires, chrome swing arm, new wide glide front end and trees, rear shocks, new chrome calipers/brake pads/rotors brake hoses and both front and rear chrome master cylinders, a lot of new wiring, battery, new switches/lights, forward controls and lots of new chrome. There are boxes of parts (new/original taken off items) that go with bike. This Harley has been in my family since it was purchased brand new. Bike needs nothing and is also offered for sale locally too. NADA value is $13800 but selling for a lot less! This bike is also offered for sale locally too.
