2003 Harley Sportster Anniversary Edition "48 Clone" 1200. Low miles (11,200), very custom. I bought this Sportster for a project to make it look like a 48. A friend of mine was building a very custom 2015 48 so I bought all of his take-off parts for mine. All the parts had 15 miles on them, he bought the bike new to build right away. The entire front end is off of the 48, the wheels are the 16x8 spoked 48 wheels, upgraded headlight from stock, Dunlop Elite 3 matching tires with 3000 miles on them. Harley Black Diamond grips and pegs. Stock 2003 controls and speedometer so the mileage is accurate to the bike. The engine was originally an 883 but I installed a 1200 kit, currently has 2000 miles on the engine kit. A Dynatech 1000i programmable ignition was installed along with the 1200 swap. Cobra Power Pro 2-into-1 Exhaust system, sounds really mean, nice calm idle with a mean sound when you get on it. S&S Super-E carburetor with a flat black air cleaner cover, I just bought a brand new air cleaner for it as well. New battery last fall. 2000 miles on the primary oil. New plugs. Relocated coil. New clutch and throttle cables. No leaks. Black taillight trim, with a smoked lens and LED bulb. Stock 48 turn signals front and rear. Biltwell Banana seat. Custom Metalflake Lime-Gold paint job. It was painted with a black base coat, House of Kolor Metalflake, and House of Kolor Lime-Gold candy. I chopped the cam cover to match the contour of the engine and also chopped the pulley cover. I then had the cam cover, primary cover, pulley cover, rocker box covers, rear pulley, and foot controls, all powder coated black to match the bike a little better. Custom painted pulley. Oil changes are made every 2500 miles, I did non-synthetic oil changes at 100, 500, and 1000 miles for the engine break-in. It is now switched back to synthetic oil. Very unique, one of a kind motorcycle, so much is done and customized that it hardly even looks like a Sportster anymore. This bike is super fun, very torquey due to having 883 gearing with a 1200 top end, which makes it a ton more fun. It runs great, starts right up every time. I am selling because I have moved up to a Street Glide and will no longer ride this, switching to a new toy. It's hard to put a value on a custom like this, I know what a 2003 Anniversary Sportster is worth, and what a 2015 Sportster 48 is worth, so I found the mid-point with the upgrades put into account and will work with a buyer from there. I am asking $6,000 or best offer.
