At the heart of the Road King is the Twin Cam 88 engine which has been isolation mounted in the touring frame for more comfortable riding. The Road King features an easier shifting transmission, a large, electronic speedometer mounted in a die cast chrome dash and a massive, nostalgic chrome headlamp and nacelle to accent the traditional styling of the Road King. This particular example has 7,773 original miles and has been extensively customized. The most noticeable of the upgrades being the gorgeous Orange, Black and Silver paint job with killer graphics. It has a 21” Hooligan chrome front rim with matching rear rim and rotors. It has a matching set of H-D boards, pegs, pedals, grips and a Boom Audio sound system. There is so much added chrome on this beauty that it could easily be the catalog bike for Harley. Added chrome includes but is not limited to the frame covers, inner primary, engine covers, tranny covers, swing arm, switch housings, levers, fork sliders, axle covers and the billet shift linkage. Not only does it look beautiful but it has a Screamin’ Eagle Stage I air intake with filter, a Dynojet Power Commander and it sounds just plain nasty ripping through its Rhinehart true dual exhaust system. All said and done over $30,000 was spent customizing this gorgeous bike and that did not include the cost of the original bike.
