ONE OF A KIND CVO STREET GLIDE - LIKE NONE OTHER Have you seen the 2015 Harley Davidson CVO in Black? Hard to tell it from any other black Harley, right? The graphics are so faint that they are lost in most all lighting conditions, whether indoors or out. The "blacked-out" look is cool... But when you buy a CVO, you expect it to stand out from the rest, Right? Additionally.... If you have been reading any of the Harley forums recently, you may have seen that the Motor Company has had paint issues with their CVO models, particularly the CVO Street Glide. Many customers have written complaints about paint problems, particularly the clear coat applied by Harley's contracted CVO paint company in Colorado (Gunslinger). Well, read on to see what I have done with this Black Beauty. It is like none other because it has.... "ENHANCED" graphics as well as new clear coat. After purchasing the bike in May of this year, I noticed that it indeed had some of these paint issues. So, after much deliberation, I decided to have it disassembled by the dealership. I then took all of the painted tins to a professional paint and body shop that I trust and explained that I did not want to change the outstanding tribal type graphics, just make them "pop" and become more visible without going overboard. And I wanted the clear coat fixed. We discussed it and came up with a plan. They first color sanded all the surfaces to have a smooth base to start with. Then they laid down a thin red pin stripe alongside (not on top of) the exisiting border of the graphics. All the surfaces were then prepped and a new clear coat was applied using a much higher quality product than Gunslinger applied. Color sanding was performed again and polished to a brilliant mile-deep finish. I then took the tins back to be reassembled by the dealer. The result is a jaw dropping... but not overdone... enhancement of Harley's magnificent tribal graphics. The whole process was indeed pricey, totaling more than $4000 from beginning to end. But the bike is now instantly recognizable as a CVO, not just another black Harley. Yet it still retains that stealthy look. The new owner of this bike will not be disappointed whatsoever. As the odometer shows, it has 1059 miles. The initial full service has been completed as well as having the following installed by the dealer: Jackpot stainless steel free flow headers, huge 4.5 inch Cobra slip-ons (deep throaty rumble) accompanied by Harley's SERT Tuner. A few other cosmetic bright work items are the Kuryakyn LED halo headlight ring and LED curved license plate frame. I have been asked why do I want to sell it if I've invested so much. The answer is because another project has come up in the meantime that I would like to get started on. So, if you would like to be seen with a one of a kind drop dead gorgeous CVO Street Glide that is like no other, consider bidding on this bike. Note: I do not accept Paypal. Winning bidder will be required to pay in full within 3 days of auction closing. Please be sure your funds are available within that time frame.
