For Sale by original owner: 2013 Genuine Buddy Scooter 170i (168cc engine) with 510 miles on it in Brown/Cream. It's been a great scooter, but I recently bought a new car and just haven't ridden it much. I had purchased it in early 2014 from Maxey's Cycle and used it mostly for my work commute on nice days. The scooter tipped over in a gravel alleyway at slow speed a few months after I bought it, and there are some scratches on the side from that (see pictures), but I had it checked out at the dealership and there weren't any problems - everything is in good working order. Tag was renewed in February. It gets 70-80 mpg; the tank is one gallon. Features include a push button start, automatic transmission, ample under-seat storage and a port to charge your phone/external device. Purchased new in Octobef 2016. Less than 700 miles. All maintenance up to date. Upgraded exhaust and variator. Prima windshield. All stock parts and extra oil filters included. Starts and runs whether it's 30 degrees or 90 thanks to fuel injection. Hits 40 mph in a city block, top speed 62. Not a scratch. Title in hand. MSRP $3295 plus $250 freight and set up. Like new, purchased 10/16 from dealer with full 2 year warranty and roadside assistance. NCY performance full exhaust and Dr. Pulley 11g slider weights, as well as removable Prima 14" windshield. Excellent pick up from a stop to 40 mph. Top speed 65 mph. Engine oil and gear oil changed at 300 miles. Second oil change including spin on filter at 500 miles. I have an extra new battery and 2 extra oil filters. This is the perfect urban scooter, light and maneuverable and fast enough that you aren't afraid of being run over by SUV drivers. Not a scratch on it. Retail price new is $3299 plus $200 frt and set up. Reason for selling is I am looking for an interstate suitable scooter to commute on. This scooter is fuel injected and starts immediately and is ready to ride wether it's 30 degrees or 90. You won't find a better scooter for city and suburban use.

We are having our second baby!! This means a blessing for us and an opportunity for you to use that fatty tax return and get your own Buddy scooter with all my maintenance supplies.This Genuine Scooter Co. Buddy 170i has the Mocha trim package. The 170i is a fuel injected model with a continuously variable transmission which means push button and go - no gear shifting, no silly carburetor, no winterization, no mixing of fuel and oil, and no kick-starter! It has the most power of any current Genuine model with super quick acceleration and a top speed of 60+ mph. It was originally purchased when I was working for a coffee shop and we had no children. While it makes me sad to part with such a fun and peppy little toy, I have a new job and a growing family. What a difference 3 years can make!The current MSRP is $3299 (not including destination, dealer set-up charges, or taxes). Scooters of Boise ordered and prepared this one for me at a cost of $3,700. I am fastidious when it comes to maintenance and have followed both the manufacturers recommendations as well as the advice of the staff at Scooters of Boise. During the 500 mile break-in period I maintained speeds below 35 mph. At that point I had Scooters of Boise perform the first oil change while I drained and replaced the gear oil, this extra step ensuring any manufacturing fragments in the drive lubricants were removed. In the 3000 miles since, I have treated each tank of gas with an ethanol stabilizer. I have also performed an oil change every 500 miles using supplies from The Scooter Lounge based in Provo, Utah. In addition, this spring I replaced the battery and swapped out the roller weights for smoother, faster 'D' shaped weights from Dr. Pulley.
