I am selling my 2006 749s. This is a great bike to have and it won't be around for long. This bike is very fast and it looks fantastic. Full Ducati Desmo Service performed by Ducati Austin. Included valve adjustment and fresh cam belts. It has fresh fluids. New oil, brake and clutch fluids. Recharged air filter. The motor pulls strong and is ready to ride. It has 22,000 miles on it. It has been well maintained and garage kept. Clean blue title. I primarily used this bike on the weekends. It has not seen a lot of highway or inner city miles. Handles fantastic. I am the second owner and have never laid it down. eally don't want to sell this bike I gotta let it go to take care of some things. You won't find another 749 like this on CL this bike has been well maintained and up to date service and has had a lot of effort put into it! Just had the plastic repaired and painted the original ducati yellow. New tires, fresh oil change, stock grips stock levers and rear sets were all put back on the bike. Got two mirros which are very hard to find for the 749/999 bikes. Replaced all the old exhuast piping with newer ones and new gaskets as well. Has a brand new clutch pack with barrnett pressure plate and springs and a carbon fiber open clutch cover. Just got the desmo service done as well so the bike is running in top forum. I have receipts to prove all the stuff I have listed and got done to the bike. Asking 6000 OBO which is reasonable considering the amount of time and money I have put into this bike, needs nothing just turn the key and ride!

2006 Ducati Superbike 749s, Termi exhaust. Real nice. Well maintained - EXCELLENCE ON THE ROAD AND TRACK The Ducati 749s has all of the technology that makes the Superbike family unique. The 748 cc Testastretta engine provides 116 horsepower at 10,500 rpm and torque of 8.4 kgm (60.8 ft.lbs.) at 8,500 rpm that can even be used at very low revs, resulting in excellent track performance and easy handling on the road. It is a safe and pleasurable ride in all conditions. High engine revs are allowed by a special valve retainer collet system used to secure the steel intake and exhaust valves. The system is also used on the R versions as well as the World Superbike and MotoGP race engines. The L-twin Testastretta engines are very compact, making the finished motorcycles incredibly narrow and agile, much like their racing cousins. They also offer excellent torque and remarkably vigorous power delivery compared to four cylinder engines. Ducati Superbikes have incredible acceleration and provide outstanding riding thrills. The suspension is fully adjustable at both ends and features a TiN-treated upside down Showa fork at the front and a Showa rear shock. Thanks to a wide steering angle (28.5 degree), the steering damper, adjustable headstock rake (from 23.5 degrees to 24.5 degrees) and foot rests that can be set at any of five different positions, the Ducati 749s can be adapted to suit individual riding styles.
