1990 Ducati Sport 851 - I have a highly collectible, show-winning superbike for sale. I am the 2th owner of this fully documented bike with detailed maintenance. This bike came from Maryland where it was owned by a professional ex-racer/Ducati Team Owner. The bike was one of his numerous bikes in his collection. This bike has never seen a racetrack or been abused. Its perfect IMO. Upon purchasing the bike, I took it to Miami Ducati and the bike was given a complete maintenance check and everything made perfect. All maintenance recommendations by Ducati were competed at that time. Ducati Miami did the most recent safety/maintenance check in mid 2014. The price reflects the care and maintenance lavished upon this bike as well as its collect-ability. You may find a cheaper 851 but you will not find a better 851. 1992 Ducati Sport 851, This 1992 851 is in great condition. It runs perfectly. At age 55, my riding style is transitioning from sport riding to touring and ADV. So its time to let it go. The bike has 26,000 miles on it. The engine was completely rebuilt by BCM motorsports in New Hampshire at 18,744 miles. It was fitted with 926 pistons and cylinders at that time. I have the original receipt, which I can scan and share if you are interested. I can trace at least the last 10 years of ownership. I am the third of three friends who ride together who have owned it. So I know it has been lovingly cared for during that 10 year period. I just changed the cam belts and installed a new battery and voltage regulator/rectifier. I'm located in Pennsylvania.
