Hi everyone! I'm selling my 2005 Ducati 800 SS These were last of the air-cooled Ducati Sport-bikes and are exceedingly rare. Hell, the 800SS was eligible for the old AMA Mini-twin race series, bone-stock! I bought it back in March of 2013 in Pennsylvania with 12,808 miles, rebuilt it, and then rode it around the Northeast until I moved to Texas. It has Texas title and plates and passed inspection. Registration is good until March 2016. The timing belts were changed at 12,356 miles (I have a copy of the receipt to prove it) and are good until the 24,000 miles mark. I religiously changed the oil at 2,000 miles myself. The bike was rebuilt by me and the gone through a comprehensive "enhanced inspection" before I could get a rebuilt title. I have all the copies of the paperwork to show the process I went through. I tried to keep the bike completely stock, sans the front turn signals and a K&N air filter. The Tires on there are Michelins front and back and they have good tread on them. The bike is not perfect but it sure is a looker and goes just as fast while sounding nice. The not so good: - The left front turn signal light isn't working for some reason. - The neutral switch went out (only costs $15 and is right at the back of the crankcase so easy access) and thus I just ground that wire to bypass the safety and start the bike. (Just an extra pre-flight start-up procedure, really) -The left mirror is missing since it broke when someone tipped it over last year. - The seat has a slight tear on it. - The tank still has a slight dent on the right, nut nothing major. Other than all that, it runs like a champ, starts right up and has NEVER left me stranded! If you have any other questions then please do not hesitate to ask.
