This is a Super Rare 2008 Ducati Monster S4RS Tricolore Model With Just Over 1128 Miles. Almost new. Bike is in excellent condition, never been down, raced. This Special Edition S4RS in bold Tricolore colour scheme was produced in limited numbers and is highly sought after. With the 998 engine (130 HP) the S4RS Monster boasts fully adjustable Ohlins suspension front and rear, Brembo radial brakes and carbon fibre to include silencer cover, exhaust heat guard, front mudguard, radiator covers and cam belt covers. Bike is absolutely Amazing!! Technical Features Frame and Chassis: The central feature of this most powerful Monster’s chassis remains its trellis frame formed in high strength ALS 450 steel tubing. The frame of the new Monster S4Rs boasts 5% greater torsional rigidity than that of the previous Monster S4R, due to design improvements around the airbox. The tapered aluminum alloy handlebars feature a variable cross-section. Diameter is 22 mm at the grips, but increases to 28 mm at the centre to give the best possible weight to rigidity ratio. This design allows a reduction in the thickness of the handlebar tube from the usual 5 mm to 4 mm. The chassis of the Monster S4Rs boasts a 1440 mm wheelbase and a trail of 96 mm, achieved by offsetting the fork legs 30 mm ahead of the steering axis and giving the steering head a rake angle of 24°. Suspension The front end features 43 mm Öhlins upside down forks with titanium nitride coated stanchions. The rear shock is also Öhlins , and incorporates a piggy-back reservoir, and also permits a wide range of adjustments for compression, rebound and spring preload. Wheels At the rear a new, super-lightweight Marchesini aluminium wheel with 5 "Y" spokes, 1,300 grams (23%) lighter and with 18% less inertia than the rear wheel fitted to the S4R. The front wheel is also by Marchesini, again with 5 ‘Y’ spokes, in aluminum alloy. Brakes Brembo, at the front the S4Rs is equipped with a radial master cylinder with a 19 mm piston and separate reservoir, coupled with a pair of radial calipers, with four 34 mm pistons and four separate pads. The Brembo logo is milled into the caliper casting and finished in red paint, The two discs are 320 mm in diameter, 4.5 mm thick and are mounted on special aluminium alloy flanges. The rear braking system is also by Brembo and comprises a master cylinder with an 11 mm piston and a fixed caliper with two opposed 32 mm pistons and a 245 mm disc. Engine. The engine (Testastretta) delivers an amazing 130 HP at 9500 rpm, with torque peaking at 10.6 kgm at 7500 rpm. The smooth and progressive power delivery from this engine makes the Monster S4Rs a real pleasure to ride. The Testastretta’s vital statistics include a stroke of 63.5 mm and a bore of 100 mm. The inlet valves are 40 mm in diameter and the exhaust valves 33 mm. Valve lift is 11.71 mm for the inlet valves and 10.13 mm for the exhaust valves. NO TEST DRIVE

This is a Ducati Monster S4RS Tricolore. It is the last and fastest version of the original Monster with the 999S superbike engine, radial Brembo brakes, full Ohlins suspension, and lightweight Marchesini wheels. They were only available in 2008 with 400 being imported to the US and Canada. 275 came to the US and this is #83.This bike is original with the factory optional full Termignoni race system. This includes titanium exhaust, carbon fiber silencers, and race computer. This is good for a 13% power increase (per Ducati) and drops about 20 lbs.There are additional carbon fiber parts including the short tail, heel guards, smoke shield, and clutch cover. I have the stock pieces as wellThe tail light is updated to LED and the turn signal lenses are clear. I also have those stock parts as well.Valve adjustment, timing belt replacement, new battery and new Michelin Pilot 2CTs all within the last 500 miles. This beast is #145 of 400 in the world! The S4Rs Monster was only built for 2 years, 2007 and 2008. It mates the lightweight "naked bike" trellis frame with the 4-valveTesteretta 998cc water cooled engine from the Superbike. 128 hp in a 390 pound package nets an amazing power to weight ratio makes for a thrill ride. The special edition Tricolore scheme not only added the Italian flag livery, but features the best of the best in components. Ohlins suspension front and rear, single sided swingarm, Marchesini wheels, Brembos on both ends. New tires. The bike has the full Ducati Performance/Termignoni kit worth over $1700 and includes airbox and revised PCM from Ducati. :// /termignoni-certified-raised-carbon-side-silencer-kit-ms4rs-detail.htm?productid=8665134It also has a short bar riser, sliders (never used!), bar end mirrors and a new battery. If I had the room, I'd just empty the fluids and keep in the house as a piece of art, but that's not the case. I simply don't have the time to ride it any longer. I am the 3rd owner of the bike.Owner #1 bought it, had all the mods done to it, apparently scared the hell out of himself and sold it immediately with less than 1,000 miles on it.Owner #2 was in Texas. Both of these guys were meticulous. I have every piece of paperwork on the bike; service, warranty, you name it. All keys (including the 'red key'), owners manual, warranty info (although it's well out of warranty now, but cool to have). This is #49 of 400 produced worldwide. No stories or history to share, other than bike has performed flawlessly, received the 7500 mile full service including Kevlar belts from GM Motorsports in San Diego, also had the tank replaced at under Ducati warranty for expansion and replacement tank had Caswell treatment to protect. There are a a few upgrades including Rizoma mirrors, levers, ugrgraded clutch slave, carbon rear tail - but no chop. Otherwise very clean, original bike. Includes the Termignoni pipes and performance chip - bike is extremely quick. Have all books, service records and keys including red key for new owner.
