2008 Ducati Monster S4R S Tricolore, UP FOR GRABS IS A 1 OWNER 2008 DUCATI S4RS. WITH ONLY 5,300 MILES. THIS BIKE RUNS AND DRIVES PERFECTLY. THE PREVIOUS OWNER DROPPED IT IN HIS DRIVEWAY. THERE IS VERY MINOR DAMAGE TO THE BRAKE LEVER AND RIGHT BAR END. A SCRATCH ON THE CLUTCH COVER AND CARBON FIBER EXHAUST PLATES. IM PUTTING THIS BIKE ON EBAY FOR 7 DAYS, IF IT IS NOT SOLD I WILL PULL IT AND MY SHOP CAN FIX EVERYTHING. I WILL THEN RELIST IT FOR 8K. IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A S4RS AND YOU DON'T MIND PUTTING A LITTLE WORK TO MAKE IT PERFECT THIS BIKE IS FOR YOU. THE PRICE IS 6K FIRM ON EBAY AND 5,800 IF WE DID A TRANSACTION OUTSIDE EBAY. 2008 Ducati Monster S4R S Tricolore, Some of the most sought after Ducati models are the striking 'Tricolore' versions. Models like the F1 750, 851 and more recently the 1098 Tricolore, produced in limited quantities, represented the best-of-the-best and now enjoy legendary status. For 2008, Ducati will produce a Special Edition S4R S in the bold Tricolore colour scheme. True to its legacy, the S4R S Tricolore epitomizes the essential soul of Ducati. Its Italian design heritage is expressed by the colours of the Italian flag and its sporting heart could not be better represented than by the racing technology and absolute racing performance it embraces. The Monster S4RS Tricolore - true to its name - the flagship of the Monster family. THE "MONSTER SUPERBIKE" The liquid-cooled, 4-valve per cylinder, 998 Testastretta L-Twin engine features a 100mm bore and short stroke of 63.5mm to limit average piston speed and allow increased rpm. The result is a staggering 130hp and 76.6 lb/ft of brute torque. Testastretta technology allows a reduced angle between the intake and exhaust valves resulting in a clean, compact combustion chamber that is highly efficient. The optimised combustion environment and linear flame front inside the specially designed heads, combined with cutting-edge electronic engine control technology, guarantees precise and optimal combustion throughout the rev range. The chassis components are unparalleled. Fully adjustable Öhlins suspension front and rear complemented by super lightweight Y-shaped 5-spoke wheels ensure outstanding handling, while 320mm Brembo twin discs on the front have radial-mounted calipers with four pistons and four pads per caliper to provide incredible race-worthy stopping power. And to make this Monster look and feel even more exciting, ultra-light carbon fibre has been employed for the silencer cover, exhaust heat guard, front mudguard, radiator covers and cam belt covers.
