A pretty nice 30 year old Cagiva Alazzura 650 SS( Cagiva was Ducati's savior). Please don/t complain about me listing it as a Ducati. I know what it is .I guess I am not clever enough to list it as a Ducati-OTHER as I wanted. I couldn't get all the photos on either . This survivor was purchased from the widow of a friend of mine several months ago. The odometer shows 5200 miles and is probably accurate based on the condition of the instrument cluster ,the wiring and in particular the black chrome head pipes ( these are almost always corroded). The valves are in spec and the oil came out pretty clean with no metal bits. Engine runs very strong, clutch doesn't slip and gears shift well. Upgrades include 38 mm Marzzocchis front forks( probably from an 860 GT) , K-N air filters,Dyna coils, 280 mm Brembo cast iron rotors, as new Avon tires, adjustable steering damper ,Brembo Goldline brake and clutch levers ,black chrome Conti mufflers ( there is a small ding on the left Conti above the C,). These things were on the bike when I got it this past Fall. I found and rebuilt the missing rear brake caliper ,rear master cylinder , replaced the droopy rear turn signals with shorter new old stock CEV s ,replaced the leaking fuel petcocks with Bevel Heavens aftermarket items, installed new old stock Superbike bars, English high quality bar end mirrors, rebuilt carburetors, added alloy tops, alloy oil and ignition sight windows, stainless steel brake lines front and rear, new Thomaselli throttle and cables ,timing belts ,oil and filter ,fork oil , replaced ignition pick up lines with Bevel Heaven kit, repaired the rear turn signal wiring ( amazingly all the wiring except the P Us and the rear turn signals remain intact, soft and pliable), installed a new fuse box from Moto Guzzi to replace the original ( which was missing the cover) .All that to the tune of about $2000--receipts included . All the lights and gauges work ,the brakes are very strong ,the clutch does'n.t slip, forks don't leak , steers and ,tracks true . Unfortunately ,I cannot quite finish the project due to my health. The following needs to be done: the rear seals( where the swing arm spindle fits in the crankcase) leak ( new seals are included and are not difficult to do---just time consuming), the exhaust crossover needs to be coated, the Corbin seat has a repair on the left side that is visible but slight, the carburetion is not right, with a spitting flat spot in the mid range. And I notice, after installing the fairing sides, that the throttle cables hang up . I think rerouting will take care of the problem. .Worst case scenario would be longer cables from Motion Pro. The oil pressure gauge was installed by me. If you want to leave it on ( I like to know oil pressure) it needs a better bracket than my temporary one. The cowl still fits with the gauge in place, Included with the sale is the following list of extras: new old stock headlight, nos fairing bushings ,extra jets new ,individual choke fittings ,original handlebars, 2 oil sender units in good condition extra master relay( engine management unit), original fuse box ,Ducati tools, front fairing ,both large side fairings ,new accordion fork boots ,new 38 mm seals, original seat in good condition assorted gaskets and other bits too numerous to list. I also have a nearly new high quality folding single bike trailer ( $1100 retail) that will be included with the buy it now only. It will have to be trailered ( not registered and it's heavy) . The bike looks great from 10-20 feet but has lots of scratches and dings when examined closely. The extra front fairing is from a 1985 model and is in good shape with turn signals, the full size side fairings are solid but all scratched up, the engine paint is not bad but shows wear ,the left Conti has a small ding, there is a dent in the gas tank on the left side that is covered by the fairing. If I think of anything else it will be added. Good solid bike. Please ask questions. No warranty stated or implied.$500 deposit via PP balance in 7 days
