A 1974 Ducati 750 Sport in excellent condition from the famed bevel drive era. It will be the pride of any respectable collection! This 750 Sport was in a private collection in Tuscany, Italy for the last 20 years and is now for sale in SoCal. This 750 Sport has a wide frame which is quite unusual but not unheard of. In his book the Ducati bible, Ian Falloon mentions that a few 750 Sportwere built on wide frames at the Ducati factory. Ducati 's record keeping as well as consistency in production were rather questionable back then. Based on the frame number, this 750 Sport is one of the last ones produced and one can see how the factory simply used whichever parts were available to build this motorcycle. The current curator of the Ducati museum Livio Lodi acknowledged this and that he does not see a 750 Sport built on a wide frame as a problem. This Ducati 750 Sport was certified by the ASI (Automotoclub Storico Italiano), the Italian Historical Auto & Motorcycle Club, as being correct and authentic. We also have the original, first registration for this Ducati and it was originally registered as a 750 Sport in August of 1974. This Ducati Sport 750 runs wonderfully. Restored about 15 years ago, it still looks absolutely pristine with brilliant paint. The carburetors were just rebuilt and a new battery was installed, as the had been sitting for a few years. This exceptional 1974 Ducati Sport is offered for $42,500. It will be sold with Italian papers and a Bill of Sale.
