1974 Triumph Trident , Great running example of a 74 Trident. Not a 100% perfect show bike but a great looking and great running driver. I use this bike regularly and often take it to shows or just out for a ride on weekends. It has a Lucas Rita electronic ignition along with a complete new wiring harness installed a few years ago. Ive put my own touches on the bike to make it look the way it does because that is how I like it. It does come with all the original parts to turn it back into a stock 74 Trident. It also comes with hundreds of dollars worth of spare parts in boxes. I recently changed both sprockets and the final drive chain. Anybody who works on these bikes knows that is a big job disassembling the primary side of the engine. All new gaskets and seals were installed in this process along with a NOS chain guard. While the bike runs and rides perfectly right now, there are a few things that could be done to make it perfect. It leaks a little oil just like every other British bike and the kickstart return spring is weak. Nothing major but I just dont have the time to fix. I was fortunate enough to meet a nice guy out on the road who wrote a great article on me and the bike and got me on the cover of Real Classic Magazine. Attached are some of the great pictures he took of the bike for the magazine. I have a spare copy that will go with the bike to the new owner. I hate to sell the bike but I have way too many projects. Its time to let it go. $5,200.00
