Here is a used, 2012 Can-Am Spyder RT-S SE5 that we received as a trade-in on a new Spyder here at our shop. The Spyder has 8945 miles on it and was owned by a regular customer, who always takes great care of his Spyder, it is really clean and has just been serviced. The factory paint is nice, but you will find some scuffs and minor scratches on it, it has had some add-on Can-Am & Spyder graphics applied to it by the previous owner. It's clean, but again it has just under 9k miles and has some minor signs of the machine being used and ridden, nothing serious, but it has been used and ridden so it is not perfect. Tires are in good shape, front and rear tires shows minor wear, but look to have quite a few miles left in them. The machine runs and rides great. The Spyder has a couple nice add-ons, including a front fender lights, 3rd brake light, carbon fiber trim work, Spyder Attitude exhaust and a set of floorboards. Paint is nice, but you will find some scuffs and minor scratches on it, it has had some tribal graphics applied to it by the previous owner. You are bidding on a 2013 Can Am Spyder. This version is the touring version, designated as the RT-S SE-5. The Can Am Spyder is the epitome of a modern riding machine, offering you a unique and fun riding experience, along with some outstanding engineering. The three-wheel riding experience is different than a two-wheel motorcycle, but offers a number of advantages. First, there are the three wheels and in Can Am's case, two are in front, making this a different experience than a traditional trike. When riding this machine, you actually steer into the turns, rather than lean. Two wheels in front offer a stability that cannot be matched by a traditional trike, especially on turns. Secondly, having three wheels makes the Can Am Spyder much easier to maneuver for those of us that are getting older, or who may not be strong enough to support the weight of a big engine two-wheeler by ourselves. The Can Am Spyder three-wheeler offers the driver a very comfortable riding position, and the passenger's comfort level may be even better than that. My wife says the Can Am's passenger seat is the most comfortable she's ever sat on, and she's sat on a dozen bikes previously. The touring experience is enhanced by a windshield that can be lowered or raised electronically, as well as loads of storage. This Can Am model has a large, lockable front storage bin, plus two lockable side compartments, a lockable rear compartment and a glove box. All watertight and 141 gal. of total storage. One of the side compartments can store a helmet with no problem. In addition, your touring experience is enhanced by the ability to listen to music from an AM/FM radio, attached iPod or iPhone, heated rider and passenger grips, floorboards, and cruise control. This bike has it all. This particular Can Am Spyder is not even broken in yet. It has been garage kept and has fewer miles than bikes some dealers sell as new. The only reason I'm selling it is because I have acquired a neurological condition and I simply can't ride anymore. My loss, your gain. This Can Am needs to go to a nice home.
