Features may include: 101-HP ROTAX® 1000R V-TWIN ENGINE & DUAL EXHAUST ULTIMATE PERFORMANCE The 976cc, 101-hp Rotax® 1000R V-Twin engine is at the heart of the Maverick performance. The optimized air flow from the intake to the dual exhaust makes it breathe easily for strong, consistent power. And the centralized position of the engine contributes to the nimbleness of the handling. CVT TRANSMISSION WITH QUICK RESPONSE SYSTEM (QRS), HIGH AIRFLOW, AND EXTRA LOW L-GEAR INCREASED DURABILITY The Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) system features a driven pulley with a Quick Response System (QRS) and a performance drive pulley. The innovative design reduces friction, providing an instant response and optimum belt clamping for better power transfer. The CVT airflow is optimized to bring more cold air flowing through the pulleys. RELOCATED ENGINE AIR INTAKE & CVT INLETS/OUTLETS DESIGNED FOR MUDDING The engine's air intake, CVT inlets and CVT exhaust have been positioned as high as possible in the Maverick X mr 1000R to improve breathing while navigating wet and muddy conditions. The three-piece system is located high on the dash and behind the driver and passenger for added convenience. FOX 2.5 PODIUM QS3 PIGGYBACK SHOCKS HIGH-PERFORMANCE SHOCKS These new high-performance front and rear FOX 2.5 PODIUM QS3 shocks allows riders to easily dial-in their suspension setup tool-free. Through a 3-position knob, suspension can be easily adjusted depending on the terrain or your riding preference. Turn the knob to position 1 to get a smooth compression optimizing comfort and performance for the long rides, or go to position 3 to get that high-performance race-ready suspension. Its 131-hp turbocharged engine option leads the way, and its rider-focused design and impressive handling provide a comfortable and confident ride. Features May Include: INDUSTRY-LEADING POWER Boosting the performance of the proven Rotax 1000R engine with the industry's first factory-installed turbocharger enables the Maverick X ds to produce an impressive 131-HP. The electronically controled wastegate automatically adjusts boost pressure for optimal performance in any condition and even maintains full performance at altitudes up to 5,000-ft. Paired to the turbo is an air-to-air Intercooler with built-in fan to keep cooled air flowing to the engine even in the most demanding conditions. To keep up with the added pressure in the engine, new low pressure forged pistons have been added for long-lasting performance. Finally, the new high capacity injectors ensure a better fuel delivery, providing an optimal air/fuel mixture to improve performance. INNOVATIVE REAR SUSPENSION The innovative Torsional Trailing A-arms (TTA) rear suspension is a compact version of a five-link suspension featuring no bump steer and low scrub. This all translates to a more controlled wheel movement, optimal bump absoprtion and tire-to-ground contact for predictable handling. Compact design means low unsprung weight for quicker suspension reaction to changing terrain. Its 16 inches of travel will provide a smooth ride at hard-charging paces or in technical terrain. HIGH-PERFORMANCE SHOCKS Pure sport side-by-sides demand high-performance shocks. That's why the Maverick is equipped with Exclusive FOX82.5 PODIUM8 RC2 shocks. Front and rear shocks feature adjustments for Dual Speed Compression (DSC), rebound and dual rate spring with infinite preload allowing to fine tune the system for any driving style, terrain or course conditions. The large-diameter bore allows for greater damping force capability, while allowing the shock to run at lower overall temperatures, offer less fade and more consistent damping. The rear shocks feature a position-sensitive Bottom-Out Control and a spring crossover that will allow for less compression damping at ride-height to improve comfort and traction while giving huge damping at the end of the stroke to flatten out the biggest of bumps. The 7/8-inch shaft gives the rear shocks a lot of additional strength & buckling resistance to handle the most demanding conditions. PERFORMANCE WHEELS AND TIRES The performance beadlock wheels use a mechanical fastening system that makes it nearly impossible for the tire bead to break loose from the wheel during heavy acceleration or cornering.
