Built as a styling exercise/concept bike for Buell and Harley Davidson on a stock new S1 Lightning in 1998. Designed by Bob Dron, owner of Bob Dron Design Center and Oakland Harley-Davidson in Oakland, Ca. The goal was to make the Buell sportbike more visually appealing and they definitely succeeded. The panels are hand formed aluminum by Steve Moal and his chief fabricator, Irishman Jimmy Kilroy. Paint was handled by master painter Steve Faraone. Beautiful piece of history that can be displayed or ridden. Only 90 miles since new. Runs great but the tires are original and will need to be replaced for normal riding.
