2007 Buell Firebolt XB9R, Looking for the ideal track bike... it's right here - Whether you?re using it as a finely tuned track weapon or a daily commuter, the Buell Firebolt owes much of its handling prowess to the 52 inch wheelbase, 21 degree rake and 3.3 inches of trail. The aggressive geometry combined with the rigid chassis makes the Firebolt nimble and precise. Up front, the sportfighter features a fully adjustable Showa inverted fork while the rear is equipped with an adjustable Showa cartridge. The result is a sportbike that seems almost telepathic, effortlessly responding to rider input. This smooth, high-revving sportfighter features a 984 cc Thunderstorm air/oil/fan-cooled, fuel-injected 45 degree V-twin. Light and agile, it?s the perfect machine for a trip through the canyons.

2006 XB12SS Lightning Long. Excellent condition, not perfect since it's my daily ride. ~27,000 miles, will increase on a daily basis. Good: Clean, reliable, comfortable, and powerful. Brakes only 4-5 months old, headlights changed at the same time. Clean title. 1203cc of Harley Davidson torque. Bad: Some rash on the frame sliders (but that's what they're there for). Tires will need replacing in 1000 miles or so. Excellent: CRG brake levers, Zero-Gravity wind screen, dual headlight mod, Aprilia mirrors, Hawk exhaust, aftermarket grips, RAM cell-phone mount, Corbin seat, Buell Rider Comfort Package (right side scoop and heat shield), Nelson-Rigg tank bag! Asking $4000. Selling because I've decided that I want something smaller to play around with that I can also take to the track. Open to trades for middle-weight to small motorcycles KTM RC390, Honda CBR500R, CB500F, CBR300R, Yamaha R3, Kawasaki Ninja 300. Trades of equal or lesser value, please. All gaskets and fluids have been replaced, new spark plug, new automatic choke, new front tire, new drive belt, carburetor serviced. Seat recovered with additional padding. Includes a removable and lockable Shrad top case and windshield. Either can easily be removed if you like.

Although the bike?s got a bit of unorthodox styling it has a very user-friendly nature when pressed into duty on the track. The claim of 146 crank horsepower and an extremely flat torque curve laying down as much as 82 foot-pounds across a 5000-rpm spread is consistent with Buell philosophy. Control operation is light and precise and the no-nonsense sporting ergonomics simply fit without there being any quirks requiring an acclimation period. The 1125R?s chassis steers lighter than any clip-on-equipped member of the XB family from which it was derived. It also displays little tendency to stand up when trailing the rim-mounted single-disc front brake into corners?an XB characteristic that won?t be missed. The XB-RR racebike-inspired upper fairing is very broad, providing a great deal of wind protection with minimal helmet buffeting. Once on the boil, running through the gears, the 72-degree, dohc, four-valve per cylinder, six-speed V-Twin appears to have brought Buell in line with other modern machines in its class.
