This classic 1939 BSA SilverStar is a great looking bike which runs well, but needs a little work on the transmission. After I purchased it I rode it but found that I could only shift it into first and second and that was uncertain and difficult. I haven't ridden it since. To fix the transmission the shift forks and shift "dog" will need to be replaced. This old bike would make a wonderful historic motorcycle for the right person.
