If you buy this bike, there will be no surprises!! It is an awesome machine and if I had longer legs then this post would not be here. Starts right up. No smoke. No weird noises or vibrations. I cannot stress to you that this is one awesome bike!! It will come naked. And again, do not buy this bike if your inseam is less than 30" !! All fluids topped off. Any rubber tubing or gaskets that needed replaced were replaced. Has brembo brakes with lots of stopping left in them. New oil with Bosch oil filter. New plugs. Research the 1996 R1100R and you will understand what I am trying to communicate about this incredible bike!!! Keep in mind that there are a few small scratches here and there. I did that buy trying to squeeze it into my garage which houses a large car and another motorcycle. I became sick to my stomach when this happened. But tis just a scratch and in no way distracts from the beauty of this bike. Also, it did have a windshield but during transport from Michigan to Virginia a small crack that the original owner made me aware of became a huge crack and I had the windshield removed.
