FOR SALE IS A 1967 R69 BMW PROJECT BIKE. TAG, FRAME, AND BLOCK HAVE THE SAME NUMBER. BIKE HAS BEEN WELL GARAGED . CRANK TURNS FREELY. 1 VALVE COVER WAS LOST DURING MOVING, AND YOU WILL NEED SOME NUTS AND BOLTS TOO, BUT THE MAIN COMPONENTS ARE THERE. THE LOOSE PARTS WILL BE BOXED UP FOR SHIPPING. . This early-80s R65 has low mileage and comes with a variety of great OEM components and aftermarket items. Features include: snowflake rims; Brembo single-disc front brake; Bing carburetors; Vetter fairing; BMW hard cases; rear rack and backrest; Barracuda tire front and Continental Conti-Blitz rear; Reynolds Ride-Off center stand; and more. The gas tank has some weathering that has compromised the lower-left side. A replacement tank is included with purchase (photo forthcoming). One side cover is also missing.
