2004 BMW R 1150 R, I am selling my BMW R1150R Rockster with ABS brakes and heated grips. The bike has only 10,050 miles and has been garage kept, trickle charged and professionally maintenanced by BMW since its original sale. The bike just went through its dealer maintenance and complete service. The bike has a new BMW R1150R factory windscreen ($500) and new Pilot 3 rear tire ($300) which is absolutely incredible for traction in every kind of weather. The bike runs perfectly and always starts immediately. I have ridden the bike both for short distances and also 400+miles in a day. Either way, the bike is unbelievably comfortable and super fun to ride with its telelever suspension system and upright geometry. I installed factory handlebar extenders for an even more comfortable ride. The torque from the boxer engine is unmatched and highly responsive. In my opinion, this is the best example of combination sport-tour and street fighter machine. The condition of the bike is the best I have ever seen for this model and also the best seen by my BMW dealer in Maryland. This bike is No. 145 of 2003 made globally and only 200 sold in the US. The only blemish is a cosmetic scratch on the side of the engine. Otherwise, the bike is showroom perfect. Please note that this model has the ABS braking system which adds over $2,500 to the bike's original value and is worth every penny from both a performance and safety perspective.
