Since driving it off the lot brand new from Bob's BMW last summer, I've typically taken it out for one or two short weekend rides each month.This is a terrific bike for both beginners and more experienced riders. Easy to control, naked style. Perfect for the city, but also great for rides out to Skyline Drive. It has always been either covered or garaged. Currently garaged in downtown DC.The bike has 2,800 miles, so it's essentially brand new like you would buy at the BMW dealership today, except no extra dealership fees and thousands of dollars less. 2001 Suzuki Sv650 , 2001 SV650 runs well. Wife is pressing me to sell, so I say goodbye. Tires are relatively new; less than 600 miles on rear, 300 on front. Couple minor blemishes on the tank, otherwise in very good cosmetic shape. I just recharged the battery after sitting for a few months, added new gas, and it runs very well. Never crashed. This model was one of the last, I believe, with carburetors, before the switch to EFI. If you like to tinker, it's a very friendly machine to work on, and there's a whole community of SV guys out there with advice. $1,400.00

For sale:1999 Honda Rebel, 250cc. $1,400 OBO. Just hit 10,000 miles (still riding it).I've owned this bike for 3 years (I am the third owner) and honestly hate to part with it, but the time has come for something new.The Rebel is the standard for any new rider or city commuter. Fun to ride, easy to maneuver, fantastic fuel economy. The 2.1 gallon tank usually gets me 120~ miles in the city. Engine is a air-cooled 234cc V-twin that is regarded as bullet-proof. With a full tank of gas, the Rebel only weighs 330 lbs. The weight is just one of the reasons that makes the Rebel a powerhouse in the 250 class. It's also quick off the line while still having the power to cruise at 60-70 mph. Garage kept, regular oil changes, starts EVERY time, even after sitting for a while. I've only needed to use the choke to get her going in the colder months. These Hondas are solid as a rock. The bike hasn't required any major work, other than regular carb clean and new spark plugs. That being said, I would recommend considering new tires and brake pads in the next year. There is 1 ding on the right side of the tank from a prior owner (see picture), and it could probably be removed easily. No other damage. Never dropped. Insurance premiums are practically nothing, making this a super affordable motorcycle. Comes with cover (which has seen better days, but keeps the bike clean).Clear DC title.
