2001 BMW R 1100 R, I'm selling my 2001 BMW R1100R with 48K on the clock (nothing for a maintained BMW). It's been garage kept and very reliable the past two years that I've owned it. I'm a property manager and I ride it everyday around the city. It's got a few scrapes and bruises from careless drivers backing into it while parked (inevitable risks of parking on the streets of San Francisco). Bike includes: * two windshield models and mounting hardware * saddlebags/side cases * Clymer repair manual Some of the cosmetic issues: * Right tail signal housing busted (currently held with clear duct tape). * Dings on mirror housing * Scrapes on engine block covers * Seat is beginning to show wear Some of the mechanical/electrical issues: * Clutch may need to be replaced soon * Small oil leak developing at rear drive shaft boot * Heated grips work intermittently * Rear tire is at about 70%, front tire is probably at about 45% * Front and rear brakes have about 70% left Other than all of that, the bike runs great and has been maintained at BMW Motorcycles of San Francisco almost exclusively since I've owned it. It's a sexy bike and turns heads everyday I ride it. The most common comment I hear from people while riding is how they don't normally like the look of BMW bikes, but think this one looks pretty rad. Have pretty much all the records/receipts.
