2000 BMW R 1100 RT, This is a very clean and extremely nice R1100RT in Night Black with only 29,850 miles! We have known this bike since August of 2014 when it had 28,845 miles. At that time we completed a comprehensive service which included fresh motor oil, fresh final drive oil, fresh gearbox oil, brake flush, new fuel filter, valve adjustment, throttle body adjustment, new air filter, new spark plugs and a new oil sight glass. On the second visit to us in September 2015 we replaced the battery with a BMW gel battery. There is Shad topcase, Sargent seat and Garmin GPS that will go with the bike. The GPS is wired to switched power so you will not have to worry about it staying on and draining the battery. We hate to use the age of the bike a qualifier but we'll say it; this is an incredibly clean bike for its age and we can only fault it for a a few minor marks on the valve covers. The paint and the rest of the bike do not show damage. If you are looking for a R1100RT this one may be the nicest available. Due to the age of the bike we will be selling it as-is. We completed a safety inspection and found no issues or leaks and we completed an oil and filter change. 2001 BMW R 1100 , Limited edition Beemer street bike with chrome cylinder heads, chrome mirrors, spoke wheels, classic BMW black with white pinstripes. One owner. 45,770 miles. Many add-ons, incl BMW windscreen, BMW bag mounts and hard bags, BMW tail rack, Staintune exhaust, K-N air filter, Techlusion R259 Power Manager, Centech fuse box and four accessory outlets, radar hardwired, blinky brakelight, upgraded headlight lamp. Metzler Z6 tires with 6K miles. All scheduled service performed by BMW mechanics (all records), with additional oil changes each 3K miles. Running synthetic. Original owners manual and Clymer service manual. No problems I know of (never any major problems). Not mint/as-new its a 2001 -- but in very good condition. Unfaired naked street roadster with great all-around performance, super touring bike, likes twisties when you get used to the weight. Ive owned a number of other bikes alongside this one, but this one I kept since I bought it new in 2001. I loved every minute of it but my gran-touring days are over. Recently did a thousand- mile round trip on two-lanes, and decided (aches, pains, fatigue) Im going to be staying more local in the future.
