Recently refreshed with rebuilt transmission, top end rebuild (new piston rings, head gaskets, and valve cover gaskets), new spark plugs, new air filter, brake fluid flush, new battery, and new tires. Only problems is the broken side bag frame (bag still attaches and feels secure).
Original cs, with only 24000 miles. Very well maintained and updated with Valeo starter, Koni shocks, new fork tubes( replaced pitted), fork springs, new Metzler tires and tubes, Westco battery, new windshield, recent paint, etc. Runs very well, handles superbly. Not many produced or remaining. certain to be a collectible. Looking for a good home, as my riding time has diminished.
1984 BMW R 100 S, Beautiful 1984 BMW R100S with original S faring, hard sided luggage, and rare silver paint. Bike runs like new and has had frequent maintenance. Diode board upgraded last fall for excellent charging capabilities. Includes original Hard sided luggage, new tire, and smoked touring windscreen. Purchased chrome crash bars used (see photo of road rash). Fairing was damaged when bike fell at repair shop, can be professionally repaired for low cost. A highly collectible model for the knowledgeable enthusiast. Rarer, more hp, and refined than R90s $8,000.00
