An opportunity to own a classy 1977 BMW R100S. Restored! The frame, swing arm, wheels, bar mounts, valve covers, battery box, seat pan, horn mounts and centre stand were black powder coated. The rear fender, side covers, headlight bucket and ears were also professionally sprayed.A complete BMW original equipment exhaust system was fitted.Great bike needing nothing. For sale or trade 1988 R100RT. 650xx miles. Nice clean original bike. Well serviced and maintained. Transmission circlip fixed and news seals 2 yrs ago. Splines lubed at that time. 1977 BMW R100/7 this is a fantastic bike with plenty of power and great looks. the paint was inspired by a old Porsche racing color in the 60s and was pinstriped by the guy at Counts Customs in Las Vegas. this was a mint barn find sitting in a air conditioned storage unit for over 10 years. the carbs and the valves have been gone through newer tires custom subframe custom top grain leather seat new valve covers converted the speedometer to digital with a Acewell unit and the bike only had about 42k on the clock and now is about 44k miles andc these bikes can go forever if you treat them right. renthal bars engine guards with fog lamp biltwell grips new exhaust mufflers and lots more. I took this bike on a 800 mile trip earlier this year and it is a champ 80-95 mph all day long. message me if you have any questions.

1978 BMW R100S with close to 35k milesthis a great bike that would make a nice addition for any collector, or a great daily driver or sport touring motorcycle. I just recently took it on a 600 mile trio through several state parks in southern Utah and he handled like a champ. plenty of power. I have had several other BMW airheads and this one is by far the smoothest and fastest. the speedometer stopped working when i purchased it and the previous owner said it was close to 32k miles I have replaced the original speedometer from one off a R100rt and everything works except the back light. it might just need a bulb.there are a few minor scratches on the lower right hand side of the motorcycle tank and some light cracks on the top of the fairing from being over tightened by the previous owner.the bike has custom mufflers that have been tuned beautifully and have a nice mean sound without being too loud, and they don't backfire!brand new AGM style battery that has tons of cca for turning the 1000cc engine over comes with factory tire pump that is located under the seat both hard bags and brackets the original seat has been upholstered in a nice black fabric and has 2 hidden storage compartments. tires are good brakes are good oil was just changed
