This is a gem of a RT; a bike we sold new and has been serviced here since day one. It also has a unique factory build for this era RT with the ASC and heated seats options; both were uncommon back then. No issues were found during the services but we will be completing a safety inspection to make sure this bike is as healthy as it appears. When not being used this bike clearly has a good life indoors; switches are not faded and the hardware do not show corrosion which is typical of a bike this age. This is an incredible find not only in the factory options but also in the 4,000 miles and solid service history. We can only find fault in the left side case where it appeared to connect with something in the garage. No damage from a drop or crash on this bike. This is a recent trade from a local police department. The bike is available to the general public as well as police departments. If sold to a civilian, the bikes will be decommissioned with the removal of the markings, removal of the emergency lights, sirens etc. The mounts and switches will go with the bike. ABS, heated grips and heated seats will be retained in civilian bike form. The police RT's have heavy duty cooling systems with an oil cooler fan, additional battery, enduro transmission and shorter rear axle gearing. After taking it in we completed an oil and filter change and replaced the front and rear brake pads. We have serviced this bike since new and have completed the 600 mile, 6,000 mile and 12,000 mile services along with other services including regular brake flushes, tires and fluids over the years. The bike is in good condition with normal wear from being used for 14,9400 miles and the bike only has minor scuffs primarily on the fairing near the strobe lights, engine bars and bag lids. All blemishes are minor but worth noting. Be the only person on the block with a Police Motors RT.
