No cruiser you?ve been on handles with this much precision. Fuel-injection technology and sheer brute force pump out 71 lb.-ft. of torque. An agile antidive Telelever front suspension soaks up the bumps. While antilock brakes deliver quick, controlled stopping power. It?s more than just a cruiser. A lot more. And you?ve got to respect that.
1998 BMW R 1200 C, This R1200C has been in my care since 2003 so it will be sad to say goodbye but new R9T is calling. It has 19,xxx miles and many upgrades. The original paint, both on body and frame, is perfect. The rear tail light assembly has been upgraded to the new design that uses hidden screws. The final drive has a custom stainless fill plug made in England. The rear wheel has been replaced with one from a R1200CLC. The front rim and hub were sand blasted and powder coated to match the frame and new stainless spokes installed. The fork legs were stripped of the old, peeling finish and polished. The cable wraps have all been replaced. The brake lines and clutch line have been upgraded to braided stainless. All fluids oil, tranny, final drive, are using synthetics. Underside of fenders have been rhino-lined and painted to ivory. Most fasteners have been changed to stainless. The early models did not include fuel line quick disconnects from the factory, these have been added to make maintenance easier. Factory rusty brake rotor screws have been replaced. Tires are new. Battery is 2 years but always on charger. Battery box is a custom fabrication in stainless as the originals tended to rust. Original turn signal lenses changed to the clear variety. Brake and clutch pedals changed to powder coat finish rather than peeling chrome. This machine has been treated to a 10 year quest for perfection. $5,200.00 9415442880
