Up for sale is this very clean and rare 1995 BMW R100RT Classic in Arctic Gray and Graphite color. Has a Corbin comfort replacement seat and the original seat which was taken off while new in the Corbin box. This is an original owner bike with all paperwork and includes the trailor hitch and trailor, all manuals and extra filters and some misc. parts. The original tools and tire inflation kit are also as new. All metal and painted surfaces are clean and bright and everything is working. 1982 BMW R100RT, This is the original sport touring bike, when introduced in 1979 it created a new class of factory-created touring bikes complete with luggage and fairing. This is a great project bike for someone looking to bring an airhead back to life. This RT is in good cosmetic condition and will need a little work to get it down the road. We completed a safety inspection and the technician's findings are in the service report below. Keep in mind this bike may need additional work not listed; our safety inspection is thorough however it can only cover what we see. All motorcycles of this vintage and mileage will most likely require work and care below the surface. If the purchaser of this motorcycle is not capable of working on this bike we would be happy to do the work. This 1989 R100RT is in great original shape. While the paint is not perfect it presents very well and has some nice original patina. Starts right up and idles smoothly and rides great. 1995 R100RT Classic. There are extra running lights installed on the back of the saddlebags that come on with the taillight for more visibility. 35 239 Mi. All the paint is bright and shiny all the chrome is brilliant! the wheels are very clean and the tires are in Very Good condition. We just put in a new battery. Arctic Grey & Graphite. There are a set of BMW Factory Chrome Engine Protection bars installed. the exhaust seat and windshield all look near new. Grey & Graphite. It has always been garaged and well cared for. the bike features painted to match BMW Integral saddlebags on chrome mounts. Don? t let it get away! There are clock and volt meters on the dash 4-Way flashers heated hadngrips chrome engine protection bars and a Comfort Seat. They are mostly unnoticeable from 6 feet away. We found the final drive splines to be noticeably worn so we changed out the final drive for another one of the same ratio with much fewer miles. 1979 BMW R100RT SOLD.... We found the rear brake to geel ? mushy? even after flushing the brake fluid so we installed a new Spiegler rear stainless brake line. 56 890 Miles. We found another R100RT upper fairing of the same color and installed it. We performed the BMW Factory recommended 10K Service plus much more. There is a key for each of the fairing glove box covers another for the ignition and another for the seat. We also installed new rubber fairing boots around the fork tubes. There is a set of 4 different keys as locks have been changed over the years. the bike starts easily and runs smoothly and quietly. the fairing upper had several vibration cracks which developed because of a stripped mounting bolt. 1988 BMW R100RT, Description: This is a very nice, solid running R100RT with factory luggage, Corbin seat, accessory socket, original tool kit and books. After taking it in we completed a top end reseal, replaced the transmission seals, rear main seal, rebuilt the front calipers and replaced the brake pads, the front forks were serviced and an airhead service was done. The airhead service includes plugs, air filter, valve adjustment, carb overhaul and all fluids. This is a very nice looking bike and very clean over all. It will show nice and with the recent major service runs great.
