I am regretfully selling my BMW because I have bought a larger touring cycle. I can't keep both. I have owned this BMW the last 7 years and loved every mile. It is sporty enough to carve sharp twisty roads but still very capable on long straight trips to the mountains. I enjoy the upright riding position. Cantilevered front suspension counteracts front end dive when front brakes applied. The saddle bags are easily removable. All-day comfortable custom "Corbin" leather seat with moveable backrest. Fuel injected - I easily get 50 mpg. Battery about a year old. "Throttlemeister" cruise control. It has fairly new tires, both should last quite a while. Add-on BMW luggage rack. Clear Texas title in hand, tags are current - ready to travel. I have taken great care of this cycle -always kept it in the garage - never out in the weather. I still ride it regularly. You will not be disappointed with this one - the BMW is really unique in sound and performance. I am happy to store the cycle for 2 weeks after sale. 1975 BMW R75/6. This is a very nice running and original bike. It has 50,300 miles showing, I have service history on the bike going back to 1997 and the original owners manual. It has its original paint which is somewhat faded, but in very good condition in light of its age. It appears this bike was ordered with the optional R90S fairing (I am not a BMW expert so I may be mistaken). It currently has a Travelcade seat, Krauser Saddlebags with locks, a new battery and comes with a cover. I have owned this bike for 4 years and it is comfortable to ride and very dependable. Up for sale is Bmw R75/6 project. I just don't have time for a project like I had hoped, need a good home. Bought it from the old German Pilot in Arkansas, it was sitting in his garage since 199x. Only 6351 original miles. All parts are original, come with everything you see in photos. Arkansan clean title. Carrollton area. I don’t deserve this bike and before it becomes somebody’s Barn Find years from now I’m going to put it back out in circulation. I had been thinking I’d might like to try an RT out, when last fall when this one came up locally … with the great condition, low miles and the price…. I jumped on it Under 5500 miles on the bike and less than 1000mi on the tires, the bike is in excellent condition and is ready to go cross-country now. Bike was dropped by a previous owner, (it is always a PO who’s done it) resulting in a couple of distracting scratches on the right side lower cowling and a 2.5” inch crack to the same cowling below the cylinder head (Crack has been secured). Includes both side cases, top box and radio harness/carriage. Side cases have a few scratches that I’ve tried to picture, but are pretty decent over all. Bike is located in Missouri City, TX near Houston. With 2 airports nearby, I would gladly assist with pick-up, making for a convenient fly and ride. Clear TX title in my name, on hand, ready to transfer. The bike runs and looks just like you would expect from a garage stored BMW with 5500 miles. Outside of the scratches (too deep to polish) & the crack on that right side fairing, body plastics are excellent....everything lines up like it should, all the hardware is there. No mechanical issues, everything works as it should including the ABS. No leaks, no smoking, no surprises, just a great running machine. The gentleman I purchased it from said he had bought it from a longtime acquaintance who was the original purchaser who after dumping it over essentially just didn't ride it much. Sorry to say I have no documented history of services performed. Though I was told that it had been serviced and the brake fluids flushed in its recent history. I also own 2009 BMW R1200 GSA and thought that a RT might be nice for two up riding. When this bike came up locally I figured it was a low risk way to try out an RT and it was. However we're not riding enough to justify keep both bikes and I prefer the GSA. Thanks for looking and feel free to call or txt for questions (281) 895-1718.
