2015 BMW S 1000 R, Super clean and LOW miles! 2015 BMW S 1000 R Conquer the roads - on the BMW S 1000 R. A roadster, reduced to the essentials: maximum performance. 160 bhp, 83 lb/ft torque and a power-to-weight ratio of 2.85 pounds per bhp - and the competition disappears in the rear mirror. Linear power: the engine. The high-performance 4-cylinder in-line engine derives from the RR but has now been further optimized. The result: extremely linear torque delivery for constant forward drive across the entire engine rev range. The engine of the S 1000 R has an output of 160 bhp/118 kW at 11,000 rpm, while a maximum of 83 lb/ft torque at 9,250 rpm puts a smile on the rider's face at every twist of the throttle. Ready for attack: the design. The lines of the S 1000 R are striking at first sight, too: aggressive tail-up/nose-down design, distinctive split face and the characteristic gills. The "R" shows much less of its sharp-edged, muscular skin. Some people call it naked - we just call it focused on the essentials. Versatile: the riding modes. The S 1000 R can be reined in and unleashed at the press of a button as standard. The "Rain" mode provides a gentle throttle response, with ABS and ASC adapted to wet road surfaces. Meanwhile "Road" optimizes throttle response, ABS and ASC for dry asphalt. The Pro modes are available as an optional extra for those chasing the threshold range: "Dynamic" and "Dynamic Pro" get the "R" into shape for the limits. Full control: Race ABS and ASC as standard. Power is nothing without control. The S 1000 R is fitted with Race ABS and ASC (automatic stability control) as standard. This duo ensures excellent acceleration and deceleration figures at threshold level. They can be activated and deactivated during travel, making for uninterrupted riding fun. No compromises: the individualization options. The "Standard" package adds Ride Modes Pro (Rain, Road + Dynamic, Dynamic Pro), gear shift assist, DTC (dynamic traction control) and cruise control. The "Premium" package includes all equipment in the "Standard" package plus DDC (dynamic damping control semi-active suspension), heated grips and engine spoiler. There will also be an extensive range of HP parts for the S 1000 R aimed at ambitious riders.

2013 BMW R 1200 RT, Decommissioned police service unit with service package extras (emergency and pursuit package removed) 2013 BMW R 1200 RT As far as 2-cylinder fans are concerned, first-class touring has a memorable abbreviation - and it s been around for 30 years: RT. For long-haul travelers there can hardly be any other term which has always stood for perfectly conceived motorcycling concept from start to finish: excellent wind and weather protection, optimum ergonomics, highly convenient operation combined with a top-class chassis fitted with the unique optional extras ASC and ESA II. In the touring segment, these features probably define the ultimate benchmark of innovation. Even though the R 1200 RT cuts a superb figure everywhere with its dynamic new design, everything about it sends out the message: built to cover thousands of miles, preferably in one go. Then there is this fascinating mixture of distinctive engine and big bike dynamics. The characteristic boxer supremacy has been further enhanced in the current version: the engine s crowning glory is now the radial Double Overhead Camshaft valve operating system from the HP2 Sport, though here designed for greater torque and without any loss of running smoothness: maximum torque 88 ft-lb at 6000 rpm, rated output still at 110 hp. This means a tangible increase in thrust from the lower engine speed range through to above the medium range. The new valve control in the exhaust system ensures a discreet but more dynamic sound. And in terms of comfort, the bike boasts a new audio system available as an optional extra, with the innovative operating concept Multi-Controller carrying out virtually all commands from a single unit. So there s only one thing you have to do yourself - drop by for a test ride.

2006 BMW K 1200 R, Super smooth running sport touring goodness! Feels like your riding on a cloud until you twist it up, then watch out, this bike MOVES!! Akrapovic exhaust produces a smooth, powerful note as you click through the gears. Heated grips, and an extra comfortable seat make this bike something special. Come check it out! ready for another 20k!! What is the proper response when faced with an unpatrolled open road whilst sitting upon a wacky-looking German naked bike capable of more than 150 mph? What about when you re lapping a racetrack on the same bike following a flying BMW test rider? Pin it, of course! A fellow might not have had that thought on many previous BMWs, but the Bavarian Motor Works are enjoying a strange transformation, dropping hard saddlebags as an option on several models and adding crazy amounts of horsepower across the range. From the HP2 super-adventure bike to the R1200RT to the forthcoming R1200S sport-Twin to the pair of four-cylinder Special Ks, power is on the rise, sporting intent the new focus. It s not that all the hard saddlebags are gone (far from it), but there has been a sea change in company philosophy. This change has led to the K1200R Roadster, essentially a stripped version of the Hayabusa-chasing K1200S. Aside from shorter final-drive gearing, slightly more aggressive steering geometry and higher/wider handlebars, the R is mechanically identical to the S.

For sale is a 2004 BMW R1150R, with ABS. The bike is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. It was kept in my father's garage for years without being ridden more than a couple times a year, and has under 10,000 miles on it. I road it from his house in Washington State down the PCH to here in New Mexico last year, and now must unfortunately part ways to make room for a new house and baby. The bike has loads of extras, including custom seats, a Remus exhaust, handle grip warmers, custom keyed BMW hard paniers, a touring windshield (currently detached), a Marsee tank bag, and other items. I have men's size large riding gear as well that would add a bit extra. Last week I picked it up from a dealer service that included brand new tires, under 100 miles. The body of the bike has minor scuffs, mostly unnoticeable. All maintenance has been done by the dealer, including Fife-Tacoma BMW in Washington State and up in Santa Fe. $5,950 or best offer. Thanks!

A 798 cubic centimeter two-cylinder entirely wrapped in black: it doesn?t just look cool, it sounds cool too. And it has pulling power.
