This 1979 BMW R65 was custom built by Spirit Lake Cycles in downtown LA. But there's a lot original here as well. The motor has only 30k original miles on it (super low for this year of bike). The tank is still its original champagne color. I recently had Brian at Spirit Lake do a full tune-up on the bike to make sure everything is running tip top. Super fun to ride, and a head-turner. I'd hold on to this bike if I hadn't already gotten myself into another build project. I have the Firestone bobber style tires (pictured) and the original stock tires as well.
