Selling my 2005 K1200s (ABS, ESA, Heated Grips) very clean and fully reviewed front to back. I actually enjoy working on bikes and made this one my focus of tinkering for the last 4 years, haven’t ridden it but maybe 400 miles in that time frame, since have 3 other BMW’s, hence time to move this on since it’s the least ridden.When I acquired the bike it was starting to show the known symptoms of 2 common problems with these bikes, 2nd gear disengaging and intermittently getting an ABS failure light. I had the ABS pump replaced ($2200.00) and my local BMW dealer found a 2008 gearbox with only 4k miles of useAdditionally the following items have been serviced or added-ECU sent to Rexxer Tuning for a re-flash, eliminates bouncy idle and flat spot at 4k RPM. Huge difference in the low speed track-ability-Engine related - coolant flushed/vacuumed, spark plugs, valve adjustment, valve cover gaskets, timing chain, manual chain tensioner, jump guard installed-Drivetrain – As mentioned newer gen gear box, drive shaft inspected and lubed, rear diff seal replace. Rear rotor flanged replaced (recall item) and crown bearing just checked and is tight and smooth-Brakes, ABS pump, front and rear HH pads, all hardware and caliper bolts replaced-Tires – Michelin Pilot Road 2 front and rear, maybe 300 miles on them. Had the rear size changed to a 190/55 versus the 190/50, taller and better turn-in-OEM Accessories added, LED tail light, rear LED turn signals, Rear luggage rack, Alarm, rear mud guard and a full cover for storage. These are all BMW factory items, not aftermarket. Side cases were replaced and new, this set is not going with the bike but have another set that I’ll provide-Aftermarket accessories, I tried to limit these so basically a full set of R&G sliders and protectors for the axles and swing arm There’s probably other items I am forgetting but gives you a sense of the condition
