As is. This touring motorcycle was under a dust cover in a garage for almost 19 years. Aside from that it is in good condition and received regular maintenance from its second owner. It was purchased through Engle Motors here in Kansas City. It has a full touring fairing, a ball-hitch for towing small trailers and racks for removable side paniers and rear top case, which are included. There is a battery charger, shop manual, and dust cover. Payment will be by Cashier's Check. Buyer will need a truck to pick this motorcycle up and I will need to see a photocopy of the Cashier's Check for ID.

For Sale a 1985 BMW K100 RT Baja Red in color. Comes with two saddle bags and a Reynolds passenger sissy bar (not installed/ no hardware included). New Battery, New Bosch Fuel Pump & Filter, Upgraded to Bosch 4 Hole Fuel Injectors, Replaced stock air filter with reusable Uni Air filter. Oil filter replaced, radiator antifreeze replaced. All electrical appears to work. This was purchased at an estate sale by me 3 months ago. This bike has been in storage since 1994. I was going to make it my next ride, but in the mean time I had other expenses show up so I'm trying to free up some cash. This bike is also listed locally so I reserve the right to end the sale at anytime. The bike does run but the clutch needs to be freed up. The gears all cycle through gear box on center stand, but CLUTCH DOES NOT DISENGAGE which is typical for these models as they have a dry clutch and usually get struck /rusted when left for a long time which this has been. Anyone who knows the "flying brick" knows this is a common occurrence on these models If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer. All SALES FINAL NO WARRANTY AS IS WHERE IS. Payment must clear before title and Bike are released. The reserve is set low, this bike is worth what I'm asking in parts alone.

1990 BMW K75 RT with 54,500 miles. New lower rear shock/spring & front fork springs bringing seat height down about an inch. Factory removable bags with plenty of space for all your gear. Corbin aftermarket seat. Full factory documentation, shop manual, and some receipts. Been all over the USA and up in Canada without ever having a problem, would not hesitate to jump on and ride anywhere. Brakes, tires, clutch good, battery one season old and always kept on tender over the winter. All lights, signals, speedometer, tach, etc. work fine. Bike was dropped on a slow speed turn (about 2 mph) when I hit some gravel so left side of faring is scratched up, also some cracking on seat top (see pictures) no frame/motor damage. I bought another bike (BMW 1100RT) and my Dad wants his loan paid back, so I am motivated to sell… Have clean Illinois title. Happy to show , but you must possess a motorcycle license and let me hold the cash to test ride.

1987 BMW K RT, This bike is an excellent touring bike that is quiet and easy to control. I have replaced rubber electric fuel pump components in tank because bike set for approx 2 years with old gas in tank. I also installed new steering head bearings because of a tight spot. The only thing that aggravates me about this bike is that it momentarily smokes, sometimes, when first starting up.Smoke stops after a few minutes of running. BMW says this is normal for these bikes because of the design of the piston rings back in the mid 80's,especially when storing the bike on the kickstand instead of the centerstand. Evidently oil seeps into the combustion chamber when the left side of the bike is lower. I've rode the beemer about a 1000 miles after acquiring it and doing the minimal restoration to get it back on the road. The bike is ready to go and I would not be hesitant in taking it anywhere. I have 8 bikes and need to minimize my stable of iron-this is one of 2 that has to go. If you might be interested in a 1984 Sportster Ironhead I have one $2,750.00
