Challenges? Yes! Compromises? No! This is the motto of the revised F 800 GS - the sportiest member of the big GS family. The motorcycle continues its longstanding success story, providing impressive versatility both on and off the road: the ultimate versatile enduro machine with sporty genes. The front section of the body in particular has undergone significant transformation: the new fuel tank trim, intake snorkel, upper mudguard and a new windshield give the bike that extra dash of dynamic performance, reflecting the off-road side of the F 800 GS. Lowering is now available as an option for the F 800 GS, too. So in conjunction with the low seat, this means it is possible to create a seat height of 32.3 inches. Meanwhile, ABS as standard, ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) and the optional ASC (traction control) ensure the familiar degree of comfort and the necessary safety. The F 800 GS comes in three exciting color variants: Kalamata metallic, Alpine White 3 and Cordoba Blue. From tough and modern to athletic and dynamic - this bike is guaranteed to offer something for everyone. F 800 GS: on and off-road have never been so close together.

Why not? That's the motto of the G 650 GS. Whether in town or on the gravel track: with this machine you have every terrain under control, and you get more than your money's worth when it comes to riding fun, too. The G 650 GS continues the success story of BMW Motorrad's single cylinder engines in impressive fashion - with a solid output of 50 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 44 foot pounds at 5,000 rpm. The bike offers absolutely sensational fuel consumption levels - 74 miles per gallon using regular fuel. The ride feel on the G 650 GS is thrilling, too - wherever you're going. Whether on the road or over rough terrain - the reliable, tried-and-tested chassis with central spring strut on the swinging fork ensures crisp handling. Membership of the adventure family is highlighted in this machine with the upright seating position and an impressive 6.7 inches (170 mm) of spring travel at the front with 6.5 inches (165 mm) at the rear. The moderate standard seat height of 31.5 inches (800 mm) and the lowered suspension option make this experience accessible to virtually anyone. The G 650 GS is robust, powerful and yet still extremely light, weighing just 430 pounds (195 kg) with a full tank. With its low fuel consumption and simple handling, it is not just ideal for beginning motorcyclists. Its slim, athletic stature in a youthful and typically adventure-style design stands for uncomplicated riding pleasure and pure fun. Accessories for the BMW adventure bike include comfortable hand protectors, aluminum sump guard, a high windshield and practical Vario cases. The options make the machine a touch safer still: a center stand makes for improved stability, the heated grips provide a more solid grasp and ABS prevents the wheels from locking. With the G 650 GS you will simply have fun. So just get on and off you go: why not?

This is a one-owner bike in excellent condition that has been meticulously maintained since I purchased it new in 2009. In all of our riding together, it has never once failed to perform perfectly, and I would trust it 100% to take me wherever I want to go, anytime I'm ready to go. I have a complete record of all work carried out since new. I would love to keep it, but I find my riding style is changing from less long-distance riding to more light-weight trail riding, and it's time to change to a lighter bike that is more appropriate for that.Other than the following, the bike is 100% stock, with no modifications:(1) In 2011, the wheels trued by Woody's Wheel Works, Check out :// /home.htm for more info.(2) I built a custom locking stainless-steel tool box that mounts in the otherwise-wasted empty space between the rear wheel and right saddle bag (see pics). This is a one-of-a-kind addition that allows me to securely carry along extra tools or rain gear without having to bring along the big bags. The box is mounted with no modifications to the motorcycle whatsoever.(3) R1200GSs have a known issue with the rear caliper. Specifically, the rear caliper float pin will corrode and eventually seize due to material incompatibility. This bike has a custom pin installed that corrects the problem. Check out the following blog for full info (I am "klei9843"): :// /index.php?threads/2009-r1200gs-se-seized-rear-caliper.816543(4) The windshield is upgraded to a Ztechnik Vstream, which is MUCH better than the stock one at speeds >45 mph.(5) Adventure Designs stainless steel engine guard extensions are installed (see pics). See :// /r1gsaenguex.html(6) Touratech fuel line protectors are installed on both sides along with an Altrider potentiometer protector. (7) I had a "WESA" rear shock installed at Wilber's factory in Germany in 2013. This bike has "ESA" (Electronic Suspension Adjustment) from the factory... With "WESA" (Wilbers ESA), you get a much better shock, but keep all of the suspension electronic controls. It is an incredible improvement over the stock BMW shock (you have to do a before and after to know what I mean), and I only wish I had had the front replaced as well while I was at the Wilbers factory. You can also get one here at most BMW dealerships.(8) The stock battery has been replaced with an Odyssey PC535 with a special bracket for that battery (original bracket included). (9) Kaoko throttle lock installed.(10) Custom oil cooler guard (mesh) installed. See pics. This is way better looking than any commercial option I have ever seen, and airflow is not obstructed.(11) 4000 miles on Heidenau K60 Scout tires. These are great tires with incredible life, and they are awesome on dirt and on the highway. The GS has fresh Castrol 10W-50 in it, a fresh Mahle OC306 oil filter, new rear brake pads, and a 30 miles on the valve adjustment.
