I won't go into too much detail about the SXV 550, as I'll assume you've done your homework and know what you're looking at, but here are some particulars about my moto. : 2007 Aprilia SXV 550 with 2008 engine. If you know these bikes, you know how important this is. The engine was replaced with a brand new engine at just under 3k miles back in March of '08. I have all the paperwork for this warranty work. : Currently ~ 3,700 miles on the clock. This means there is just under 1k miles on the new engine. The previous owner rode it for the first year and then it basically became a garage queen from '08 on. Uncorked and derestricted for optimum power and operation. Meticulously maintained using Redline Racing oils and Hiflofiltro Premium Oil Filters. I have extra quarts of oil and filters to go with the moto. 520 Chain and Sprocket kit. Rear sprocket a few teeth down for more top end. This makes it a lot more enjoyable at HWY speeds to get to the twisties.
