The time has finally come to sell my Italian supermodel. This bike is raved about in all reviews, it is a bike made just to be a street Hooligan. The Tuono is an exact replica of Aprilia's flagship super sport the RSV1000R except all the fairings have been removed and the bars moved above the triple clamps. The engine is a v-twin 1000 with 139HP and 79 LB-FT of torque. Weighing in at 408 pounds leaves this bike just under 3 pounds per horsepower!!This bike is WAY more fun than my GSX1000R, or my buddies R1000 could ever be. At 12K miles the bike is in excellent condition, had never been dropped, dinged, or even scratched. It came with a factory installed Akrapovic exhaust kit that includes an updated map. Since I've owned it I have put on: -K&N air filter-removed the restrictor plate in the airbox -new stator- new fuel filter-filled with Yamalube-Dunlop q3 front tire (only has 200 miles on it)These bikes are extremely rare hard to come by here in the states. No Dealer Fees! It's time for me to part ways with my Black Beauty. This bike is Italian, it's a v-twin, it's comfortable, sporty, quick, and gorgeous. This bike turns heads, but even more importantly, it's an absolute joy to ride. It generates 95HP and 59.9lb/ft of torque, and has 3 riding settings: Rain, Touring, and Sport. The throttle response is amazing, and has enough torque to make you remember to hold on, no matter what speed you're going. It wants to go! It also stops incredibly well with steel braided brake lines and twin rotors up front. The tires are in perfect condition - I try to ride in the canyon at least a couple days a week to keep the wear even (It's a sacrifice, I know). The bike has just over 3100 miles on it. It has always been garage kept. I haven't had a single problem with this bike, period. Even if I had, it has a remaining full factory warranty of about 18 months left, and unlimited miles (fully transferable to the new owner). Purchasing a used Italian street bike is actually a blessing. The gearbox starts out pretty stiff, so it's needed some breaking in. The run-in procedure and the first oil change were both done on time, so this motor should last forever. The exhaust has opened up a little bit too, making the Italian growl from the factory even more exciting. I love this bike. I love it! I'm only selling it because I need to make some financial changes. NADA says it's worth $7065 on average, and this is a C.L.E.A.N. bike. Read or watch any review you want of this bike.
