Selling my clean, well-maintained 2007 Ducati Monster S2R 1000 in Black with White Stripe, 16,500 miles. Located and kept in midtown Manhattan in indoor garage for last few years. Bike has been properly maintained with service records since my purchase in 2015. Reason for selling is I bought another bike and you could rent an apartment in some places for less than I pay for parking here in NYC so it's time for it go. The bike has new front tire, back tire has about 1500 miles on it, I've somewhat squared it off from riding freeway too much (there's no back-road carving in Manhattan...), so you may wish to replace rear. I have the manuals, the tool kit is complete. The passenger seat cover is not on the bike but as you see in photo I have it and it's perfect. Customization:- SilMoto carbon fiber exhaust slip-ons.-Adjustable CRG levers. -Handlebar riser, because I'm old yeah, but you could certainly take it off. -Custom open clutch cover. -Better grips. -CRG bar end mirrors, though not the lane splitters. I have the stock mirrors and will provide them.-T-Rex Racing hub sliders and frame sliders. Beautiful. Never had to test them fortunately. -R&G tail tidy-Smaller turn signalsProblems:-I have three keys; I do not have the red-key. Cost me $15 per key to have them copied, including the chip programming. It's not a big deal to make copies of these or any chip key. If you think you're going to lose all three, send one to your favorite aunt for extra safe keeping.-Tank is good. No leaking, no problems. No bubbling paint. It has swollen like all these plastic tanks do but paint is excellent. In summary, bike never dropped. Starts, rides beautifully. No smoke, no gremlins. Brakes have full life, clutch is perfect. Clean title. I'm an adult, middle aged finance guy, it is terrifyingly fun. Will wheelie in first, second, not my thing but if you enjoy it, this a torque savage. Motivated seller, will not ship, come get it. Cash or whatever you prefer. 2007 Ducati S2R with 15,329 miles. The bike has never been dropped and is garage kept. Valves were checked at end of last season and oil was changed this month. Inspection sticker is good until July 2017. Clean title in hand. 2007 Ducati monster with 13,025 miles. Never been down. Had full desmo service done at the nearest Ducati dealership just before 12,000 miles. Bridgestone battlax tires like new. New clutch plates installed and hydraulic lines were flushed just before 13,000 so it still needs 250 miles to break in, then will need an oil change. This bike is a great beginner bike, or for anyone who wants to own a Ducati without spending a fortune. It is very light and nimble with plenty of power, from low rpm all the way up. Comes with nylon saddlebags

2007 Ducati Monster S2R, This was the last year of the old Ducati Monster body style, before they looked like space ships. This is a sweet mint condition classic with under 10k miles. Not a scratch on her and if you are a fan of the original monster- I don't need to explain. You will flip over backwards when you see this bike. The only reason I am selling is I had to purchase a car for work and we are having a child. If I could afford to keep the bike as well as my car and remain financially stable - I would.
