The feisty four-stroke 250 engine hits the scene with a new Supercross hampionship under its belt combined with cross-country competition in it's components. In fact, the 250 XC-F has taken Factory FMF/KTM rider Maria Forsberg to three consecutive Women's GNCC Championships and 2 X-Games Enduro X Gold Medals. Features May Include: CLUTCH The highly compact CSS (coil spring steel) clutch uses a wear-free steel basket and eight clutch plates which are extremely heat resistant due to their steel carrier discs. The Brembo hydraulic system with its new master cylinder provides easy and precise modulation. CYLINDER HEAD he centerpiece of the compact DOHC engine is its cutting-edge cylinder head with two overhead camshafts and DLC-coated followers a design that allows to break the engine speed sound barrier of 14,000 rpm.
