His teammate Kailub Russell has matched his success on the 350cc machine with wins and a championship in the XC1 class in the GNCC series. Features May Include: Air Box The airbox design offers maximum protection of the air filter against dirt while ensuring maximum airflow for top performance. The Twin Air filter can be changed without tools in seconds, a standard for KTM. Handlebar All XC models are fitted with a new black anodized Neken tapered handlebar, with a bend that is specifically suited to the requirements of offroad while boasting superior quality and performance. The proven standard KTM mount allows the handlebar to be mounted in four different positions. A large Neken bar pad offers effective protection for the rider. Hand Protection And Grips Standard for all XC models, the hand guards use a new material for better impact resistance. New, softer two-compound grips are used on MY 2015 XC models for increased comfort and less stress on the rider s hands. Fuel Tank The XC s feature a large 2.6 gallon translucent fuel tank on the two stroke XC s and a 2.4 gallon translucent fuel tank on four strokes. Features May Include: Frame The EXC s chassis is second to none and for 2015 the bikes will feature the striking Factory orange usually seen only on KTM s race team machines. The modern and lightweight frame design with exceptional quality and performance created with by WP Performance Systems is made of lightweight, high strength chromoly steel sections. Not only does it provide easy handling and precise cornering, but also outstanding stability. Airbox The redesigned airbox offers maximum protection of the air filter against soiling while ensuring maximum airflow for top performance. Engine The 350cc 4-stroke engine with a state-of-the-art electronic fuel injection offers a very wide power band and is distinguished by a dynamic but fatigue proof power delivery. Oil Circuit The 350 engine is equipped with two oil pumps. A pressure pump provides reliable lubrication for the crankshaft, piston, counter balance shaft and valve train, while cooling the ignition and lubricating the clutch. A scavenger pump draws oil from the crankcase to lubricate the transmission. This also creates a small vacuum within the crankcase, which increases engine performance. For MY 2015, the oil pump suction screen has new O-rings that increase durability under extreme conditions and over time. DDS Clutch The single-piece basket of the DDS clutch (damped diaphragm steel) is machined from solid high-tensile steel in one piece together with the primary drive gear.
